Stimulating Law Series

Love Love Love this series , I wait with anticipaiton for the new episode and I love that they drop one each day over the weekend. It has never failed to engage the viewer & also show a different legal system. The story each episode has been done so well. you never quite know what they will bring out next & I am here for it. Age Gap Love seems to be a target with some viewers but get with the program Age gap love is a big part of our world these days. I am here for the age gap , the fact that he is her superior and with the other story of age gap she is his superior Don't care -- everyone deserves love and they are slow burning it & it maks their story all the more authenic He isn't attacted to her youth it is her mind & she isn't attacted to his status but his extreme kindness & character Fantastic show
New addition to this review--finished watching & I had a viseral reaction of pure disappointment because I would have loved this to be a series and go on and on. There are some pretty fantastic story lines that could have been explored, especially an age gap romance between our main leads. But they left the ending ambiguous so I prefer to think that Kye Hyo-min & Yoon Seok Hoon got together and had beautiful babies.

Finally Real Life

Episode 1-8 the narrative of Reality never relents . Whatever the sexual orientation this speaks to Love universally . How we get it, keep it, accept it & appreciate it. It is a hard hitting, funny & totally relevant story. Shows the judgements and preconceived notions that people have. It also shows so effectively how each person has a whole lot of hurt & they carry it with them though life, no one isn't marred by social issues and prejudices. This is especially in the LGBTQ+ community. My heart broke when Go Young saw on his lover Noh Young Soo computer his research paper on Homosexuality. You could see in Go Young 's eyes the total bewilderment & then the realization of who this guy truly was. The fact that a person could be such a total hypocrite , what I loved about this series it showed people up for who they were. The series didn't make anything precious & for some it will give a true understanding of what people go through. It was funny, I mean just chuckling at so many of the scenes, especially with his friend Mi Ae. Loved this series!!!! It is a definite watch for sure 3 thumbs up

Imaginative Creative & Emotional

Is there ever a time that Son Ye Jin doesn't Shine -- She brings Life & Magic to everthing she does -- of course it helps that her Lead Hyun Bin became her husband years later. The series was imaginative crossing over the border into North Korea , being found by the NK forces escaping and later finding safe haven in the very soldiers home that she escaped from very creative writing there. She plays the rich beautiful Diva Perfectly & engages everything and one around her she is so Amusing Lovable & Real -- The cast of misfits that surrounds her in this film is nothing short of brillant -- each one bring perfection in their roles delivery -- Hyun Bin as the Rich Soldier -- Kim Sun Young this actress always plays important characters in all the films she does & she is one of the best at it -- I love her in all the roles , I wish they would bring together all these amazing character actors in more films it would really be something to behold --Ko Kyu Pil plays Son Ye Jin characters faithful manager friend and he really bring so much humor to this series -- I think it also plainly shows that being Chaebol isn't all it's cracked up to be when everyone around you is a viper It is considered one of the best Dramatic Series & it crossed all borders Well Worth the Watch

It's a Real Depth of Feeling

I always love a coming of age Film -- it's nostalgic & the innocent awakening to your true self is always the best
When a BL is done correctly as this on most certainly has been, your drawn into the story & there does not need to be graphic sexual scenes. This story is acted so well that the feeling of both actors and the angst of the lead loving his friend. I love that it came full circle & when they reunited as adults you are hooked into their love story & if feels great to see they both realize that it was love all along. This is definitely a feel good movie, it doesn't shy away from allowing the teenagers to be teenagers with all the flaws showing. I think that the Japanese Actors I like are the very best at body & face acting, no words or ev en actions it is all displayed in their body movements, eyes and facial expression. Love it recommend it for a light watching time

Entertaining & a must see Japanese BL

I am not sure if I love this BL because the leads are older - but I rewatch this BL every year It has everything a good series should have -- a great story line, a great plot , fantastic cast & the series keeps you engaged from start to finish Only the Japanese actors can give such good acting without words Every emotion is conveyed, the series is nuanced & it doesn't pander it has no unnecessary scenes when the main characters do become more intimate it is to move the story line as a good series should It is a stark reminder that you don't need obnoxious love scenes just to pander to the lowest common form to engage your audience (are you listening Thai bl creators) audiences are more sophisticated and we know and appreciate a good story line with great acting A must see

Sumo Whattttt

I was unprepared for the double punch of this series. Wow, not knowing one thing about Sumo except they were huge. This series was enlightening for sure. I know it is a theatrical portrayal of the sport, but still it makes boxing look like child's play. The amount of strength & endurance these men have to be able to be Sumo Wrestlers is awesome. The lead characters, I have to say characters cause just like sumo & how important the Stable's are , the series portrayal of the sport is rooted in the acting of all the characters. Enno being the central but, not the main to me all the characters were just as memorable. I even had an impact from the sleezy political guy (he was gorgeous) that betrayed the female reporter who by the way was fantastic. I don't know if I could rewatch it just because it was so impactful I will never forget it in the 1st place.

Winds me up

Just Wow -- talk about demoralizing -- women's are there to provide coffee etc..... Sorry but Park Shin Hye doesn't nearly pull off a 20yr old vibe -- acting stupid isn't being a 20yr old -- sticking clips in your hair isn't neither -- she just does not look nor portray that character well -- she is a pretty actress & usually does well -- but her overacting is teeth rattling Ha Yoon Kyung is another misadventure but not nearly as awful as Cho Han Gyeol out of them all he detracts from a scene with his nonchalance which comes over as I'm pretty so that is all you should require. The supporting cast is why I will try to finish this series because believe me they hold this together so far that is all I can say

It is amazing how many talented people there are in this world. Saying that these kinda picking members shows are very enlightening -- some of the contestents come in horrible and somehow become awesome to watch -- It really goes to show talent can only get you so far the rest is how you connect with the audience -- not to mention the makers of these shows no exactly how to exploit all these PrettyBoys afterall it is happening in every Kpop group right now & it has been the formula always So lets see how long it takes for the Fans or lack of to tear down this group as they have with every other group
Toxic Toxic Toxic these shows just play into the audiences Toxicity -- I feel sorry for the contestants -- & then maybe not cause they all want Fame Money & someone to Idolize them

A Dramatically Funny Series

Why the Headline because it is the best Drama with some of the best Comedy I have seen in a long time The lead Yeo Yeon Seok isn't your typical Korean Leading man I am sure he doesn't fit the ridiculous standards that are placed on Asian actors but he is one of the best actors & each series he does he becomes better & brings more He morphs into each Ghost & brings so much laughter to each character I just do not want this series to end His leading lady Esom brings just as much talent to her role as a tough but troubled Lawyer She is Sexy Strong Vunerable & a good foil for Yeo Yeon's funny character in this series I also love that they have pulled out all the stops in bringing more of Korean's character actors into this series Kim Mi Kyung when you get this actress it's just gonna be a hit she is one of the best and has many years of acting Great I always love to see Jeon Seok Ho in any series he's Fantastic in anything he does Top Notch
