I like it so far. It's very firmly a romance with a bit of action. So will be perfect for some people, not for others. If you like either of the MLs you will probably like them in this.
Things I like: - Well cast - good acting, people look and feel right in their parts - FL upfront, direct, apologising to ML when wrong, being direct with SML that she doesn't like him. - FL in fight scene ep.16 - she's not skilled but has survival instincts, not leaving it all to the ML - Main leads chemistry very good. - Not always realistic but fight and action scenes have been fun and interesting to watch. - ML acting is great, not overly stoic to the point where he's a boring rock.
Things that annoyed me: - Cliche childhood meeting - specifically their ages not lining up. I've seen this many times in C-dramaland WTH. - Some small but obvious "that would never happen moments", I got over them though. - Pets dying is a no from me - sad times. - Psycho work colleague. The things about these characters that I don't like is that it's just not believable. You risk your job, your reputation as well as the lives of others just because you're jealous of a colleague performing well. Unless you're having a mental health crisis or psychosis it doesn't make sense.
Maybe a silly question but I've saved this show and am going to watch on Viki. What does it mean by a special episode on ep.5. Do I watch one or the other or both? Is it bts or an extended cut?
I'm only on episode 7 but I'm confused about something... can someone explain? Will leave my question underneath…
I don't understand why he's mad at her. I guess it will be something they explain later on but they were best friends, then he disappears and changes his name but he's mad? I don't get it. Seems like in the flashbacks she might have missed school for a day or had other friends but that seems... psychotic?
As someone who also does not like graphic gore I didn't find this bad at all, nothing stands out as particularly…
That already tells me a lot, thank you. I've watched Vincenzo and Flower of Evil and really enjoyed them. I'm fine with most generic violence and action scenes I just don't like anything too dark or gruesome and I don't like graphic sexual assault scenes for example. Thank you, that helps a lot!
Can anyone tell me how gross/scary/graphic this and the first series are? I'm a wimp but it looks really good so I'm wondering whether to give it a go. I was particularly put off by the sexual abuse, r**e and torture tags in the first series. I really don't like watching sexual violence. Can anyone tell me how bad it is? Should I avoid?
