I need to know if they are gonna early release the last few episodes. I can not watch one at a time ๐๐๐
They almost always do, why not if it makes money? But I think it's usually the last 6ish eps or something so probably not until next week. That's just guess work though
Is it just me, or does the dubbing look a little dated on this? I feel like dubbing in Cdramas has come such a long way that I don't notice it anymore. I've only seen clips, and some of the voicework is out of sync. Is that an anomaly when actually watching?
In China, typically a class has 40-60 students who stay together throughout their primary or secondary education.…
Thanks both for explaining the school system, that makes sense. I do worry about 28ish adults whom are hung up on teen crushes but I guess they will live haha
Wait, I'm confused. I'm only on episode 9, but they went to school together, were friends/interacted, but they are both pretending they don't know each other? They knew each other so little that it's believable they forgot each other's existence, but they are still obsessed with each other after 10 years. Do I need a new brain, or do they need therapy?
Wow, just finished and I'm really, really impressed. It's not groundbreaking cinema by any means, but it delivers what it promises, and it executes it really well. Rom-coms can be great when done well; they don't have to be trash. This has all the cute scenes, lots of romance and happiness, but was still well acted, well shot with character development and pacing. The crescendo of the Pei/Qin family drama was satisfying, and the side characters felt like they contributed to the story rather than padding it out. My only critiques are that there are some plot holes in the VR game, and I didn't like Zhao Xiao Rou's makeup and hair. These did not distract from my enjoyment of the drama. A 9/10 for me.
I dont like when the Rich/CEO/Boss ML falls in love with the FL because she does everything for him, fulfils all…
This is true. I'm only on ep 14 so there's probably even more development I've missed. I only see it in moments in the show but overall I feel like their relationship has more balance than other cdramas I've seen where there's a rich man/poor women dynamic.
I dont like when the Rich/CEO/Boss ML falls in love with the FL because she does everything for him, fulfils all…
Respectfully I disagree. You may do those things in varying degrees when you're in love, but the idea of falling in love with someone because of how convenient they make your life isn't real love. You should love the person first, as a human being.
There's one thing that I don't like in Cdramas that this show does, but not as much as other shows... so I'm still…
I dont like when the Rich/CEO/Boss ML falls in love with the FL because she does everything for him, fulfils all his emotional needs, cooks for him, cleans, serves him. That's not really love it's just convenient to have someone like that around. I feel like the FL falls into this a little when she's looking after him and protecting his identity, but it's much more tolerable in this show because he's at least also showing concern for her emotional needs early on and she just keeps buying him takeout haha. Also thank god she's not his assistant.
There's one thing that I don't like in Cdramas that this show does, but not as much as other shows... so I'm still really enjoying it, but it mildly annoys me
Does it cost money for them to add beauty filters to each character? I noticed a tendency in Cdramas to either only filter the two main leads or use a stronger filter on them than everyone else. I'm wondering if this is a budget concern or if they are trying to emphasise their beauty as the leads?
But that is also cruel to not do it himself. That just means she was not worth his time.
At first, I found the wording (at least on the Eng subs) a bit wishy washy and wasn't sure if he actually cheated but later on once or twice characters did specifically mention cheating. i *think* but am not sure, that with passing review cdramas can't be too explicit about things like cheating, as to be seen as encouraging it on tv is a big no-no.
But that is also cruel to not do it himself. That just means she was not worth his time.
I know but to me it feels like passing the buck to her when he was the problem. He was married then cheated, he paid for everything for them, took their sides and neglected his family. It feels like he only dumped her because she was no longer serving him but causing him issues. He's also still delulu about his business acumen but i'm only on ep 35
After all that, he doesn't even dump the mistress in person? He makes his assistant do it? He's learned nothing; he's just changing with the wind and whoever is good to him.
