Does anyone know the Viki schedule for releasing subbed episodes? I know I'm going to want to skip through this so don't want to start it unless it's almost finished airing.
I thought it was really good! A surprise drama for me, as I hadn't heard about it before I started watching. I think it would be higher rated if its leads were more famous, but they both did a great job. Yang Xu Wen was particularly good. I'm wondering how it passed review, although reset also has a time loop - is time travel okay as long as it's not in ancient times?
I'm confused.. I'm on episode 5 but I've been doing work at the same time - should have concentrated properly. I don't have a clue what's going on. Would anyone mind getting me up to speed to I don't have to rewatch from the beginning?
So I'm finally watching The Long Ballad... I'm going to add my thoughts about episode one and then again after…
Thoughts after watching episode one: - Love the cast, this is a good role for Dilraba, Acting is good so far. - Although this is big budget, after watching LLTG and other 2022 dramas, it's noticeable how far C-drama has come in the last 12-24 months. The costumes and sets are beautiful but the colour grading is a little washed out and the dubbing is not as crisp as some, only in a few places though. Very watchable, just an observation. - Lots of action, loved the football game. C-dramas have this sneaky trick of stuffing a bunch of exciting action in the first 5/6 episodes to get you hooked, then slowing the story right down. I hope they don't do that here and make it draggy. - I don't find the age difference between to two leads very noticeable, or a problem.
Yep, Love Like The Galaxy is a must! A Dream of Splendor, Love & Redemption and The Long Ballad are gorgeous and…
poor thing! I think I ended up not watching it last time after I read the tags (s abuse/torture) that put me off. But maybe it's not that bad if it's rated 13+? I did end up watching LLTG and LOVED IT! A Dream of Splendor has been started and The Long Ballad is to be watched...
I've been wanting to watch this for a while but I've been put off by what I've heard about the ending. I hate disappointing endings. Is it still worth watching?
Ended up really enjoying this. No drama is ever perfect but overall it has good acting, is beautifully shot and I liked the action. Does anyone have any recommendations as what I should watch next?
