Hey yes episode 10 they are ´visiting´ his grandmother who is in a zombie state, in episode 15 they are actually talking about his real mother who was a lover to this general who also is his real father. about the soup he ate... it was made out of his nanny who since his mother died was like a mother to him and who actually raised him.

I do think that it fits in here because thproughout most part of the movie, we were fooled to believe that she really has amnesia. Its a big plot point.
