I too was speechless & shocked when he suddenly became such a psycho and ass. So I thought, how the hell will this drama end? I guess no happy end for the 'pairing'. Because what sane person would forgive him for all this, but then they just 'resolved' everything with him risking his life for her. The classic, of course she would feel, grateful and kinda in debt. -_- I don't remember it clearly but wasn't it like, after he risks his life for her that she give's him another chance but he again betrays her? Gosh, he was so cute at the beginning, but at the end, he is just a sex obsessed person...
I'm not familiar with Japanese dramas, is a '3 months left to live' a cliche in jdramas? Thats depressing...
I consider works from 2009 and down 'old' and rarely pick them up, but sometimes I'm just in the mood for an old classic with this old school melodramatic OST (like now, I'm watching 'What Happened In Bali') I always end up laughing about the fashion though X'D
NEVER EVER read Chinese drama synopsis. They're bitterly summaries of the whole drama from begging to the VERY END! Yes, they even reveal character death! -_-
So well I just slightly need to know what direction the drama takes and read just about the first two sentences. I mostly rely on on the cover. if the cover is beautiful (and the actors too) the I'm in. Im sooo easy to visually seduce XD
I don't mind hype about actors/actresses if I like their acting but its really annoying if a bad actors keeps getting main roles and in dramas you are excited about (e.g Nam Joo Hyuk...)
But its worse with overhyped dramas for me. Even if I was slightly interested in the drama before it aired, after the airing when the crowd freaks out about every little thing in the drama and you see screenshots and praises everywhere, And EVERY ONE, ppl I like and I may not like LOVE this drama, I start being annoyed by the drama itself and see only the faults bc no one else seems to be. After some time though, when the hype is down and the drama is finished airing I usually come back to it (since I did wanna watch it back then ^^)
MDL's ratings? I never even look at that anymore bc I made enough experience that showed me that too many dramas are rated high so I can't trust that. And often very high rated dramas aren't what I like but the ones that aren't so much rated or are low in ratings.
Only if there is a review I run over it or read some comments.
Country, Genre, Episode Count and duration are completely irrelevant for me :)
I just watch more Kdramas but I don't have a country witch dramas I don't like.
Im so thankful to the writers for this ending.
It was very unexpected.
Definitely something to re/watch with friends
Seriously never would I expect them to just double ddabong! XD
But it was sad it the Hyun Jae in 1994 was so sick and kinds 'sacrificed' himself for the other ones (AND himself? @_@)
How many episodes are out atm? Bcs it says here that it airs till 20th of July, and I see on Kissasian that there…
there are already 50 episodes out on the tv wich summ up as 45 on the web (kissasian follows the web ver.) However web and tv version aren different. bc there is more ads on the tv they split the episodes. You can follow this youtube playlist wich also tells you what number the web ver and tv version are. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLRYHxCh-wkqb8PYzl2R1AjXJROtTHAV1
Just thought about how the official English title 'Princess Agents' is totally misleading. There no Princesses and only a host part of the story that deals with a agent organization. No really, I love this drama but I wish they'd come up with a more suitable and dramatic title^^ Like 'The Slaves Rise' or 'Pride and Prejudice' (Ok that was a joke but we all know they some characters are really too pride and the others too prejudiced XD )
I dropped drama, I loved Zhao Zanilia in The Journey Of Flower but I just can't find her spark in this drama.
Yeah right. Even if its obviously not real kung fu, even when they go overboard, they manage to show it in a believable way. It feels like the actors are some kind of acrobats or dancers^^
Thanks for reply. Could you tell how the novel exactly ends? I mean what is the miserable end? Like she marries someone else, someone dies or they start hating each other? And I mean only the otp pls :)
