Especially since AeJe talked about taking out granny so that they can take over the restaurant.

Here's to another week! I hope that this week we get some juicy reveals. We are getting closer to Noel discovering the truth about DJ, thanks in part to An Na. Hopefully, it happens this week and she realizes that she is an awful mom. I know it will be another week or so before DJ discovers who Noel is.

It is easy to fake until someone like the doctor starts talking. In this case KSR's mom has a big mouth so I wouldn't be surprised if she blurts something out. Look how she handled the picture that AnNa drew. I am so glad that granny saw that as suspicious.
In this case, BSC and his mom have already hinted that since DJ is not going to give them money, they will go to KSR. So, I think it will him he reveals that he slept with her because he thinks the not existing baby is his. He may even go as far as to tell WJH. Who will demand a divorce but KSR will force him to stay with her or she will turn him in for killing BSY.

This is just a question. When DJ fainted, it was Yo Han who answered when he called for a guardian. I do agree that he knew who Noel's ex-husband was because he even came to the office to accuse to confront him. However, I am not sure how he would have connected the dots that DJ is Noel's daughter. She has a different name than her birth name. Was it revealed back in earlier episodes?

What I think is that the Chairman is possessive. He married DJ on the pretense that he would help her but he had already developed a crush on her when she was at the hospital. It was icing on the cake when she came to him after being pushed off the cliff. He took advantage of her by saying it would a contractual marriage. His character likes to steal things away whether it is companies, recipes, stocks, or people. He knew Yo Han and DJ had a relationship, so he wanted to take DJ away from Yo Han. The problem is that she never stopped loving Yo Han and know his true nature is coming out since he is realizing he cannot have her. Now we only need for Noel to actually witness who he really is so that she can come to her senses.

She said it was because she wanted to get back at KSR no matter what. He made himself look like a good guy because he was already obsessed with how she looked like Noel when she was younger. JDJ gave up on love after she found out her daughter had died in a hit and run. She went to the Chairman to tell him her story but he only found a way to "own" her. She accepted thus, they ended up marrying so she could become KSR's "mother", and get her revenge, or so she thought.
Little did she know that a contract marriage with the Chairman meant being locked up and held hostage in a marriage that was only meant for revenge purposes. Plus she had no idea the Chairman was so possessive and jealous.

For me, there is no debate, WJH deserves jail time for his misdeeds. I think he will eventually turn himself in or he will end up sacrificing his life to protect his uncle and JDJ.
I think that the whole DNA with KSR and her mom will continue to be dragged out. My only hope is that granny stays strong and doesn't end up in the hospital.
KSR is not really winning because each time she gains some footage, it is taken back so I cannot claim she is winning. I just want to see her downfall and desperation. More than anything I hope the writers show her character realizing that her mother dragged her into a net of deceit and revenge that resulted in her demise.

Noel has been lackluster throughout the drama. But I think she is about to become a key character. I have a feeling that she is going to destroy the Chairman when she regains her memory. She is the key to unraveling everything. I think the Chairman will go as far as to trying to kill her. I just watched episode 98 and I am very convinced.

I got dragged into the train wreck again. I watched the last few episodes even though I said I wouldn't. Here are my predictions
1. KSR and her mom know that granny is suspicious. Granny will likely start to investigate but KSR and her mom will remain one step ahead and the whole story will once again get dragged out.
2. Two people from earlier episodes were introduced, so the rope is getting tighter for the fraudulent duo. We have Noel's driver who knows about KSR not being a chef and we have the guy who Ae Je sold JDJ to when she was a child. I like that the driver is helping Noel recover her memories. She is a key part in uncovering some of the truths. As far as the man who sold JDJ, he will become a thorn in AeJa side because he will either confront JDJ about what she did or, blackmail AeJa.
3. I think the chairman is going to try to kill his nephew but his son is going to step in and get hurt instead.
4. BSC is going to spill the beans that he slept with KSR and the baby is actually his and not WJH. It will not benefit him because it will later come out that she is not pregnant AND she is not the heir of granny. It will later be found out the JDJ is the true heir and he and his mom will beg and gravel with JDJ to forgive them.
5. WYH will reveal all of his uncles wrongdoings to include inside trading, murder for hire, murder, theft, and bribing. He will get Dream Food because WJH will either die or go to jail thus removing his character from any competition. It will be revealed that he was behind the Mill fire that killed KSR's dad and both KSR and her mom will be in total shock and devastation that they pointed their sword of revenge at the wrong person and actually slept with the enemy.
6. Noel will get all her memories back, she may be even key to exposing KSR and her mom because she slept with her dad. She will hide the fact that JDJ is her daughter for a while and secretly help her get a divorce because she is so guilt over how she treated her all this time. I think that she will play a major role in bringing down the chairman, KSR and Ae Je. Nobody sees her as a threat so I can see where she can play double agent. Plus she loves An Na unconditionally and will even more when she finds out that she is really her biological grandchild.
7. Granny will likely feel real regret that she was so cold to JDJ's dad when she finds out that he was her son. She may even go into shock and be hospitalized when she finds out that she has been housing and protecting two criminals. My only hope is that Granny doesn't do typical makjang and becomes weak and almost dies. I hope she become a fierce woman that yields a sharp punishment to the two witches stripping them of their clothes any belonging they had, kicking them out on the street with nothing.

Well these are my hopes and predictions for what I hope is coming in the next few weeks. We are all waiting patiently for this "revenge" that JDJ is suppose to be getting. Nothing has occurred since she married the chairman.

Lol! He couldn't stand her and was only trying to get to JDJ. It two years for her to do the deed and even then, he had to be intoxicated and she took advantage of him while he was out of it. The writers made her character one sick person.

I think she is just really loyal to granny and senses that there is something off with those two witches. KSR's mother is very sly and she has caught her many times trying to steal.

Well, let us not forget because of her mother, KSR blames everyone but herself for her situation. In the earlier episodes, the mom was swindled out of money by her second husband but she still blamed KSR's dad for it. Now, we have KSR who just like her mother, blames JDJ for everything bad that happened to her. She is past rationale and lives out of reality.

I think the writers will keep granny alive. Although she will have to go through some life/death ordeal.

In true makjang form, the writers likely need to add in some deaths, some kidnappings, and someone has to go into a coma and miraculously come through at the last moment.

Ugh! Why!!!

It was in the earlier episodes when she came back from the Philippines. She was trying to get BSC's attention at a restaurant, so she paid the guy to hype her, by saying she was this amazing well know chef and, if I can recall correctly, he hit on her as well. She purposely did all of that in front of BSC, who was listening in on the conversation.

I started watching Miss Monte Cristo on the recommendation that it is a better makjung because the revenge happens faster. So, far it is pretty good. The acting is a little sad but I do like the pacing. That is why I am putting this drama to the side, at least until next week. I need to see something (through the comments) that something is actually happening on the revenge side. I am tired of the love story between JDJ and WYH and I can't deal with the clingy girl who can't take no for an answer.

I think it is because he is also the actor who pretended to interview her so she could impress and sway BSC when she got back from the Philippines and he is the driver that was helping Noel find her daughter. I am not sure on the theory but according to the comments ( I haven't watched this week) KSR gave him money to go away but he is back. I think he knows she is a fraud and will eventually help expose her true nature. The introduction of him back in the storyline means something is about to go down.

I haven't watched the show this week. But, based on the comments it looks like KSR slept with two men. Her child's killer and BSC and now she is pregnant. Also, Noel's driver knows that she is not the rightful heir of her granny. So, based on these revelations, it seems that the writers are going to make KSR pregnant. WJH will find out that she cheated and try to kick her out, but she will use the baby as a ticket to stay in the house.
With the writers bringing the driver back into the drama, it means he may have a role in revealing who she really is. There is also the uncle, that last I watched, was being held captive. Not sure if anything happened with him this week. He too is a lose end for KSR and can blow things wide open.

I totally agree with you. It would be more entertaining to watch a win and then lose, instead of building up to the lose by constant winning.
