The two second leads are so annoyingly persistent. But I'm loving the lead couple. Lead couple needs to speak up for their significant other more. I'm on EP 18 and hopefully this is the beginning of it.
I just finished EP 14. I'm so glad are lead couple is smart and not swayed by rumors. So far, no misunderstanding between them two besides the minor one before they got married. The Princess,.although playful and doesn't come off as a typical dignified princess that we normally see, she is loyal, faithful, smart and strategic. Her character complements Li Qian. They are both cute together as a married couple and I hope the drama doesn't add unnecessary plots to break them apart.
Enjoying this drama so far! Loving the JJY and JZ chemistry! They're kinda cute together. At first I thought Zhang Zhe Han was a good match for Ju Jing Yi but now I think Joseph Zeng is better suited. JZ has a younger vibe to him so he matches with JJY. I'm not a big fan of her dresses though but everyone's else outfit and hair looks great. The storyline is engaging enough to keep me interested. Been looking forward to this drama and it hasn't disappointed me! I hope the story doesn't turn but looking forward to more episodes.
Normally I'm not a big fan of bratty female leads. Even though JJY character is a princess and she doesn't exude what a typical, royal princess is, I find her character forgivable. Her smarts makes up for her lack of "dignified" demeanor but if she's suppose to play the fun, playful, somewhat bratty princess, she's got it down. But I feel she can be mature when needed and playful when needed. She's mature and smart enough to come up with plans to get herself out of certain situations but she doesn't do it recklessly.
I watched episode 1 on the designated "eng sub" playlist. It was poorly written. When I watched the original ep with English subs from YouTube I think, the translation was better, not perfect, but still better than the episode that is designed "eng sub." If you're going to watch don't watch the episode that has "eng sub" in the title. Just watch the original episode and turn on your captions.
I first saw male lead as the villain in Princess Weiyoung. He just has that natural villain look haha. It took me a while to get used to him as the good guy in the Twisted Fate of Love drama but I ended up dropping it. But he's so different in here. He definitely looks more gentler and his facial features are softer so he fits the good guy role in here. I'm enjoying his many facial expressions.
I initially watched this as a filler drama and was going to give it a few episodes. The more I watched, the more I got invested. Even though the swapping bodies plot has been done before, this one is refreshing and different. I enjoyed and laughed through those parts.
It also dawned on me, at ep 23, that the plot also touches on fandom and how crazy fans can get. It's like the drama is relaying a subliminal message to all fans out there that there's a limit and don't go overboard. They're showing us the celebrity side of dealing with fans and anti-fans so I also enjoyed that plot as well.
Finally after a lot of skipping I finished watching it ...for everyone who wants to drop it, I want to tell you…
I got to ep 14 and dropped it but after reading a lot of the reviews about the happy ending, I'm glad you posted which episode to pick back up on. I will resume at EP 27 then hahaha
I just finished Ep 2. Was excited to watch this because of Li Qin but then I read the reviews. As someone who also loved You Are My Heel, I wanted to check this out and see how it compares. YAMH and My Dear Guardian (MDG) though the premise is similar (doctor and law enforcer), MDG is a bit edgier based on the 2 episodes I watched. The leads have more spice, more spunk and not afraid to speak their mind. The plot deals with more higher level crimes such as terrorism and drug trafficking. Both dramas have their uniqueness. I love YAMH in that the leads are young, innocent and naive and watching them fall in love while protecting others was refreshing. They're a more timid and shy couple which I find really cute. MDG leads seems a bit older and experienced and their outspokenness can probably be mistaken for immaturity but I just think they stand their ground and speak their mind. It will be interesting to see how their characters grow and fall for each other. For now, I will keep watching MDG for the character growth. I'm not a medical or law expert so I can't tell what's accurate or not, but the cinematography is not too bad. I'm just coming off watching Imperial Coroner and for sure, no other drama couple is going to be as mature as Commandery Prince An and Chu Chu. But all couples have their uniqueness. I just hope the drama doesn't have a lot of misunderstandings or love triangles!
You are my Hero and Imperial Coroner! Must see! YAMH was refreshing. Both leads are young and new to being in…
So far IC and YAMH has the most mature couple this year. If you don't like misunderstandings and immature couples, avoid Time Flies. I watched up to EP 12 and decided to drop. There's so many new dramas out there that I haven't been able to catch so can't really recommend much. But I tend to read synopsis and reviews before deciding to get into a drama.
I just finished and omg, I think the only flaw to this drama was that it was too short! I wish we could have another episode to see all couples, main, second, and even brother! Well written story and character development. By far, this main couple is the most mature couple I have seen in C-Drama. They trust and understand each other so much. None of that misunderstanding crap we see in almost every drama. This is my couple-of-the-year. They should be the role model couple for everyone haha.
Word of warning - if you like to download from iQIYI to watch later, you will not be able to with this drama.…
No wonder! I was wondering why the download button was grayed out on my IQ app and thought something was wrong with my subscription. Boo I like to watch while I walking but don't want to use up my data.
I was so excited on watching the trailer. And i generally like Johnny. But god this show is cringe. It is just…
You are my Hero and Imperial Coroner! Must see! YAMH was refreshing. Both leads are young and new to being in relationships but have careers that take up their time. At times it felt real to me and I can see their struggle between their duties to protect others and themselves. IC also refreshing. Both leads are smart and totally in synced with each other. The most mature couple I have seen in any C-Drama!
Loving this mature relationship! I'm watching this and Time Flies at the same time and the lead couples in both dramas are polar opposites! You go from a relationship that is full of trust and understanding to one that is "wth is going on????" ?
