Same lol probably because I haven't watched the taiwanese version. I watched Boys over Flowers though. It was one of my first dramas. I don't remember anything from that drama though anymore lol. What I remembered though was that I know I enjoyed and loved it every piece of it.
I cannot compare the two, because really, I don't remember the whole plot of BoF anymore, but I'm still really enjoying this version so far. (And hopefully they don't end up ruining it, because cliched dramas rarely clicks in for me.)
wow i was gonna stop this drama at ep 8 bc i thought everything went too childish with the x thing. first few eps were so unrealistic to me.
just bc i was really bored and had nothing to do, continued at ep 9, and wow. it has picked up its pace. side characters now have side stories. more ships to ship lol.
Bad writing... Even though it's Sci-Fi it's still bugged me how unrealistic entire story was and how…
I don't think it was meant to be realistic though. The drama leaned into the comedic genre, and I think the time travelling was just there to let the comedy fall in place. I wasn't that distracted to the cameos and to the products since it kind of worked well with the scene. Although, I may not entirely call the ending "without any logic", but the ending was off. There were more questions I had for this drama. Overall, I loved this drama for a person who's more into non-comedy dramas. This comedy drama was one of the best I've watched.

But then again, it happens to most kdramas: start off good, ends up just being everywhere.
P.S I think most kdramas have bad endings lol.
