Wow i hated her in My ID is Gangnam Beauty. But I loved her acting so much. For an actress that barely had main roles, I'm actually anticipating for her next project! Would love to see more main roles from her.
Srsllyy most 16 episoded drama usually takes 7 episodes for the main characters to kiss. It took mi rae and kyungseok 13 episodes to date!!! Omg loooool finally tho.
Aside from that, seeing soo ah's downfall is soo satisfying. Plus it's nice seeing mi rae as the one interfering to soo ah's moves on kyungseok this time!!!
Im also kinda curious to what's happening w kyungseok's dad rn hihi
DON'T let the title put you off. For a person like me who watches cliched shoujo adaptations (and gets disappointed midway or even from the start of the movie), you will ENJOY this one.
People are saying it's cringy and all stuff like those, but it's actually because some scenes of the movie were exaggerated. It's intentional though, and it's actually quite funny if you don't take it seriously.
So why I enjoyed this movie, you say? 1. High budget for a cliched shoujou adaptation 2. Character development especially the main character, Karin. She's actually a spoiled brat (not her fault actually since she was pampered throughout her whole life.). But towards the end, she learned how to stand alone. 3. Casts & their acting! 4. I'm head over heels for Nao <3 ETC!
If you would want a more realistic movie, this won't be for you. (I do prefer realistic plots though). But for a person (like me) who would want to watch fluff movies from time to time with a good consistent storyline + good casts + high budget, this movie is highly recommended!
For some reason, I find this drama a bit slow in pace. (Not my thing mostly). I don't know why, but despite the pace, every single thing about this drama just catches my attention.
Plus, this isn't like other dramas where romance is the central focus. It's unique in sense. Haven't really encountered a drama so far that mainly includes how important self-love is. (aside from just loving someone you love).

Imo when reading novels, i agree, u cant just skip sentences bc it makes up a big part of ur imagination. I read a few novels too from time to time. Multimedia on the other hand, specifically dramas, can be rewindedwhen smth feels missing. Usually i dont skip stuff in dramas when i am caught in it. That's just my experience tho. I even wanted to drop this drama, but I gave it a chance in the end in case it would pick up its pace and lessen its plot repeatitiveness, bc the story has its own charm. That' all. :')

i figured out by directing my focus on watching the important parts? if youre wondering i didnt just go skip to the 45 min mark, if that's what you're thinking.
Lol I was gonna stop watching this drama bc of the repeated plot incoveniences/drag-iness (to the point that I already predicted what kind of bad luck they were gonna have) like what some ppl have mentioned below. It's just that, I'm too curious about what's happening to stop, and I'm cheering up for the female lead as well.
Mind you. I finished a 1 hour (2 episoded) drama in just 15 minutes bc i just skipped too much fillers/drag-iness.
