this is my first time watching anything with arp (originally here for landi), and this is a very silly thing to point out when the drama is giving us so many things to discuss, but i find the little moles on his face so cute! 😂

Not talking about the plot but instead about the reaction following this week's episodes, why does it feel like some viewers were triggered by the "or maybe bisexual" part in Jungwoo's coming-out scene? Before this week, I had not seen people complain at all about his ex-girlfriend nor the kiss they shared when *checks notes* they were together (many of them even hyped this scene), but Jungwoo insinuating that he can still like girls seems to be the thing that has offended a few people to the point that some of the reactions are making it seem like we're watching two different shows. It is not the first time I see this in a fandom, so it is not surprising but, my question is, do many of you truly think that the possibility of him being bisexual and not gay makes him unworthy of Jiwon's love?

The writer of this story managed to give me two sisters I couldn't root for in any way and still surprise me with Du Yangxi. Some of the beatings the other characters got should have been saved for him.

It wasn't terrible, though, there were just too many serious situations used for sh*ts and giggles because there has to be comedy and the only way it can be achieved, apparently, is if they make a joke out of it when someone has been kidnapped or is three seconds away from being s*xually assaulted.

If I had to rank the sisters' stories, Haode has the better one, followed by Kangning, and she gets help due to the fact that hers is the first story and works as part of the introduction. Leshan and her two other sisters are tied for third because the ups and downs (and the beating) in their stories, at times, were unbearable. Episode 28 was everyone but Leshan's peak, and most characters and storylines start going downhill from there, with the exception, I'd say, of Haode and her husband (they appear less than five times together in the next eight episodes, so how can their story go up or down if they are not there?). Lastly, I was hoping that Qiongnu would get her own side-story, but she was pushed to the back until the last minute, and the so awaited reunion between you-know-who and her (and everyone else) was, if anything, underwhelming.

Anyway, this drama could be an 8 if you are a big fan of one of the actors.

I mean, I'm not a fan of this pairing either (lol I wanted Seo Kang Joon as the ML), but guys i've learned to…
hoping this does not come across as annoying but i don't think lee seyoung and ji sung fit in this example. she is his senior in the industry and the characters they played had a big age gap, it's just that he is ten times a better actor than most people. she still did a pretty decent job.

After that scene with Warich and Klao, I've seen people mention that they truly believe that his actions come from the guilt he feels because he hurt Yotha in the past, but I was wondering if I'm reading too much into it because I'm not buying that excuse.

To me, everything this character does feels calculated and we've seen the way he twists the situation to make Klao—and pretty sure their relationship is a mirror image of his past relationship with Yotha, so add 15-16-year-old Yotha to that—feel like he is the only one who bears any responsibility for any wrongdoing. How he acts in front of Klao and when he is around Yotha shows that he is always looking for the right moment to react and make the situation worse by putting everything (pressing so he can see how they are going to handle what he starts and wants them to fix) on them. So no, it is not because of some misplaced guilt, but because he knows that as long as he is there and doesn't let go of Yotha, there is always a chance that he can do or say something to keep him in his pocket, while he keeps Klao beside him by doing the same. It all feels like a subtle way of saying 'Yes, I broke up with him because I hurt him, but that doesn't mean that I don't want to keep playing with him and his feelings, so I'm going to haunt his life and not let him get out of my sight. And you (Klao) should be okay with him being in my life.', so the guy cleans his room like it's normal and tries, again and again, to shorten the distance between them even if Yotha is clearly uncomfortable with it.

Yes, Yotha is an idiot for what he did but this giant mess (not the kiss, that was terrible) needed to happen before Yotha and Gun could ever be together because, otherwise, their relationship would be pretty similar to that of Warich and Klao. At the end of the day, they're two people who cannot communicate and will try to fix their problems by putting themselves in danger (Yotha) while the other (Gun) experiences a fear so paralyzing that he shuts down. If it didn't happen, Faifa's part of the story would be filled with these two going through a break-up-make-up cycle while Faifa tries to deal with his own issues.

As I was rewatching the SantaPerth kissing scenes, I noticed it was a closed mouth kissing similar to the issue…
The circumstances are totally different for both couples. Phum and Peem kissed like that the whole time, whether it was their first kiss or a kiss before the scene 'faded to black' to indicate that something else was to happen between them. From Yotha and Gun we had only seen pecks (in public) and their first kiss before this episode and it is obvious that at the resort (?) Gun didn't want to be kissed and wasn't reciprocating.

Title Perfect 10 Liners Spoiler
They said no magic spell would help Yotha today and wow, it went downhill from the moment the mother appeared. Still, no matter how many bad things one can say about Yotha, the adults in his life are three times more terrible, from his parents and Newton, who is kind of useless in all aspects, to be honest, to 'ILikeYoungerGuysICanManipulate' Warich (excuse me, the way he knew what the hell he was doing at all times, seeing Yotha in a vulnerable position and acting all nice and still getting offended because Klao cannot read his mind? The audacity!); not a single voice of reason around him, who seriously needs to sit down and talk about his problems before leaving his room for the day. Feeling bad for both him and Klao, who must be so in love, he cannot see the way Wa acts.

Faifa should smack some sense into Yotha and talk about his issues as well, because God, they seriously need it. And stop going to Newton's bar, that thing's name must be Trauma because what the hell.

And the kiss? Unnecessary, but I get it. Something something about their problematic relationship truly meeting its end so the kiss is a symbol of that. Whatever. (I am saying this through gritted teeth because, while I get why, it broke my heart.)

My poor Gun, *gothic font* I will protect you.

Perhaps it is because this is my first time watching Perth and Santa, but I don't quite get the harsh criticism I am seeing about them and their characters. That they are cringe, that there is no chemistry between them, that they cannot act... To each their own, truly, but such simple gestures like the forced smiles we see from Yotha in front of his seniors because these are people he knows he has to get along with and he has to try, or the way he starts to smile a little bit more around Gun and how it becomes more genuine as time goes by, and the eyes? Wow, I have known Perth for a week but I could write poetry about the way he emotes with his eyes and his microexpressions. And when it comes to Santa playing Gun, I'm enjoying a little too much the moments when the happy-go-lucky disguise just crumbles and we get to see the Gun we (hopefully) will get to know in the later episodes, so I have to point to the scene in front of the bar and say that he and the way he portrayed those conflicting feelings had me pausing and replaying that part like crazy. Anyway, I'm absolutely amazed by them and I think they are doing a great job (but maybe that's just me).

I have to tell this to someone so I will say it here, hoping that at least someone who's considering giving the show an opportunity will start it. This is the fourth ZLS drama I have started and, honestly, the only one out of those four that I wish would be longer or would, straight up, never end. I have liked her acting in all the dramas I've started, but the stories themselves have not been ones I have enjoyed, and I have never rooted for her characters to end up with her co-stars' characters, so I ended up dropping them all five to ten episodes before they finished, and that made me wonder if I just simply wasn't into her performances. This drama, however, has been everything I was hoping for, and Lusi's acting in the first few episodes was enough to make me shut up and get me interested in checking the rest of her filmography, so I will do that as soon as this drama ends and I have moved on from these characters (which, will take long, because I don't think I will be able to move on anytime soon). In short, I am becoming her fan.

LYN is great, as well. I have seen people say that he doesn't have what it takes to lead a drama and, while I have not watched any of his other works, I think he is doing an amazing job at it.

if you are not in the mood for a sad drama, I'd say you should skip this one for now and watch it when you feel ready, because it is on the heavier side and they do not end up together.

Am I the only one who doesn't think the changes are happening way too fast? I am enjoying the story because, in my opinion, from the very beginning they showed us that both male leads weren't only 'good and bad'. Whenever PY was being all 'nice' towards JC, there were little moments that showed what his real intentions were; for WZ, there were little moments that made it clear that, even if he is a crazy bastard, he cared for other people's well-being, so the way they are acting right now doesn't come as surprise.

Granted, I stumbled upon this drama because I saw LLD on the poster and know nothing about the novel, so perhaps that is why I have no problem 'buying into' these reactions from the characters as I have nothing to compare them to.

PS. I am loving Yi Fei, his reactions to everything are so funny.

I'm probably one of the only people who are watching this show who didn't want them to date until they were adults. I can get behind some kisses here and there (and a confession), but I still think about the 20-year-old Sol who barely talked to Sunjae and spent some time trying to not interact with him and it makes me wonder. Anyway, I am thinking about this right now because I have been seeing this crazy theory about the teen and, though I know it is ridiculous, if it happened it'd totally ruin the show for me.

Hope this is not controversial because I know that, for a lot of people, episodes 11 and 12 were their favorites.

Remember that RW is (was) an idol first actor second. HY still gets hate from those videos, so it's normal to think that their interactions are more 'reserved', especially if you compare them to LR's BTS.
