I keep seeing people asking why the psycho is obsessed with sol which is something I don’t get because his motive…
The problem the taxi driver has against Sunjae, though, comes from the first timeline (2008). He kills Sunjae in 2023 because he is the reason he was sent to prison and Sol isn't of importance to him anymore because of what he did to her (she cannot walk and, more importantly, she doesn't remember anything, including his face, so she's not a threat to him). After Sol changes the outcome of the first accident, the police cannot arrest the man and he stalks her for a year until he finally attacks her, but she is saved again by Sunjae, and the taxi driver is sent to prison (the way it was supposed to happen from the start). However, Sunjae didn't see his face that night at the reservoir, so the taxi driver only gets charged with attempted murder from the second accident (I think that's the term they used, correct me if I'm wrong) and he's free by EP8.
After the kidnapping, as you mention, everything has been about revenge, because Sol escaped not once, but twice (with Sunjae saving her both times) when she should have died at the reservoir from drowning (in 2008).
The story of the accident is not changing, just the setting.
Do you think she might loose her legs again the way she was standing at the edge of cliff. I'm afraid.
I'm guessing we will be getting the backstory in EP 13 or 14. It looks like we will see Sol as a kid and seeing the way they've been so sus when it comes to her dad (compared to Sunjae's mom), there could be something there.
But the whole taxi driver thing is why I believe that it makes sense if Sol's accident happens again because there was originally only one accident. Sol changed the outcome of that situation while trying to save Sunjae, so a second accident happened. In both, Sunjae saved her, which means that nothing serious happened to her, but getting in the way of the taxi driver, however, led to Sunjae becoming the man's enemy and, then, victim, since we know from EP8 that he was waiting for Sol, but instead of doing something to her, he followed Sunjae and attacked him. In the original timeline, he didn't go after Sol because she had lost all of her memories due to trauma, so killing Sunjae was 100% revenge at the time because he was sent to prison not because of what he did, but because Sunjae saw him and stopped him from leaving the scene. That also happened in 2009.
If there's no second accident and there's not enough proof of Sol's kidnapping, they will not be able to arrest the taxi driver and he will keep following them until he kills Sol—if Sunjae is always there, it's not possible—so all that, in addition to what Hyunjoo and Sol's brother said and the small detail of the taxi driver escaping, makes me think that Sol will still choose to spend the day the second accident is supposed to happen alone to keep Sunjae safe.
The accident is what allows their story to happen, in my opinion, and I'm sure the second one will happen, I just don't think the outcome will be the same (Sol using a wheelchair) because people will hate it, but there should be a little bit more suffering in the next two episodes.

I'm honestly being a little bit dramatic because I do think that her accident happening the way it was supposed to happen makes a lot of sense if you look at the whole story, but I don't think they will go with this because it will ruin the drama for many fans.
The moment they showed that Taesung's passion is graphic design I immediately thought of Sol's video. These two were made for each other but Sunjae had other plans 🤣
Since the first episode dropped, I have pictured this one ending that is a little bit cruel but makes a lot of sense (in my opinion), and from the previews, I can see it happening with the way EP 12 seems to be going. However, I am making myself sad because I have gotten so attached to these characters that I only want to see them be happy.
Anyway, I hope that Sol will go back to 2023 at the end of EP 12 because I need at least three episodes of them being in love in the future.
Not related to this week's episodes but did anyone find that scene with the bully from high school extremely funny? The one when Sol is pulling her hair but it ends up going a little bit sideways because she's wearing a wig. I know the comedy has been great but I haven't seen anyone mention how funny that little bit was 😂
Hi LR friends. I recall a bunch of you saying that a few actors actually turned the role of Sunjae down. Does…
No names were mentioned in the original article that talked about this and there are no rumors of the 'someone said this, someone said that' type, but there are people on TT making videos that mention the same few actors I see mentioned above even if there is no information to back this up.
Please refrain from mentioning anyone, it will only create more unnecessary rumors that, so far, have only served to create these 'X should have played SJ' comments that are going around.
Do you think we will get any deleted scenes this weekend or will tvN focus on promoting the new drama? 😥😥
Not to be negative or anything but I do believe that last week's release of deleted scenes was simply a way to keep the excitement going for the second half of the drama and, more importantly, so that people would get interested in the blu-ray.
This comment section has been mostly positive, but there have been a few comments in the last couple of days in which some of you imply that KHY is not promoting simply because that's not something she likes and does, as if she is not a professional actress who knows that it is part of her job. SIDUS wasn't a great company, but HY has promoted her dramas and films before without a single issue, and even the one I can remember that did not get much content still got videos with the main cast from tvN. Her fans are not asking for her new company to plaster her face all over SK, they are asking them to at least post about the episodes before they drop.
I do wonder if HY's last contract was up way before it was announced, though, and they simply agreed to keep going until the filming was done, which would kind of explain why ACOM just doesn't care about the drama at all.
Song writer? Not that public, but Eclipse still can sing his songs.
There are pictures from filming sites that lead me to believe that he will not be behind the scenes in the music industry, so the theory of him leaving Eclipse at some point and becoming an actor seems more likely. That, or he could be a soloist who started getting famous first as a songwriter.
idol sunjae isn't in the new future timeline because he didn't audition with the three. only his bandmates sang…
It could be that he became a solo singer who started getting famous for the songs he wrote for other groups because there are still many pictures that tell us he will be a celebrity.
i dont feel as much resentful with sol in this episode tbvh she has to do what she got to do in order to save…
It honestly feels like people are being too harsh on her. The girl not only has to face and relive her own traumas to save Sunjae, but people want her to sit down and write a list of pros and cons in all situations before doing a single thing.
I love how we all collectively forgave SunJae for the blackout drunk kiss. I was just thinking about all his green…
True. I'd rather forget it happened and I haven't seen anyone mention it that much after the episode dropped and everyone was happy 'cause they finally kissed, but I am guessing everyone 'forgave' him because they worked around it in a very intelligent way, with him being all nervous and not realizing that she was THAT drunk until they were talking in his room. We also know his intentions weren't bad, but when you look at the whole picture, it's... not great.
Thing is Future Sol still needs to go back to the future, and it's something that is unavoidable and imminent…
people are already hating Sol for not reciprocating Sunjae's feelings, but in my opinion, it's quite obvious why it shouldn't happen at all (during this time).

(BTW, I apologize for this essay.)
