Yes true although I'm confused, the dance boat scenes was his 1st day filming, the make up is really good. Not thick, I did saw his scar on the booting day. But maybe then they decided to amp his make up? But the one I dislike is King Jin, that's when they have too much make up, eyeshadow, too much lipstick etc. Ming Ye make up is fine.

Adding: Leo followed her weibo she must be happy. Usually popular actor does not always want to follow co star, sometimes to avoid further gossip, esp not if they only have small role.
So that's is v sweet of Leo. Perhaps bcs he has been fans of Huge and Reba. For Huge he said he saw him at an event yrs ago and was too shy to come forward.
Leo also likes Huang Xuan, in '19 they both got Gov awards at the same stage and took pict wt him posted it saying "succeed in chasing stars"

First Line actor for Costume, For modern maybe 3rd or 4th.

Yes no secret trending weibo for Ent are mostly bought. I read an article from SCMP in ‘21 the cost of Trending weibo top 3 are USD $10.000, no guarantee of the number of views but it will stay there so pp will click.
All drama trending weibos if positive are bought by platform/producer if negative are bought by competitors. Same wt artist. 90% of positive post are bought by the artist team, negative ones by antis/competitors. Only a few positive ones are natural trending by itself.

I think the only one being dragged down by the make up is only LYX. His make up is over the top, too much, too white, etc etc.
Everyone else make up is fine. I also would like less make up for Deng Wei.

All the F make up looks good, except for Grandma, that purple eye shadow and her hair..OMG...

Abt the Leo Wax Statues, looks like the only actor who have double wax statues unveiled at the same time is only Leo Idol HUGE both also in Shanghai and Beijing (one modern one costume statues). Better if they put them side by side LOL

Some other big-name actors have double statues, like Zhao Li Ying, Yang2, Yang Mi, Jacky Chan, Cai Xukun (who now in big trouble). Also, Wu Lei, at 18 yrs. old he has 2 Statues (he started as child actor)

Jacky and Huge now has ttl 3.
Other actors wt. a statue are: Lu Han, Zu Yi long, Huang Xiao Ming, Li Bing Bing, A baby, William Chan, Jing Bo ran, Gong Jun, Ma Sichun, Wang Kai, Reba, Sun Li, Liu Yi Fei, Liu Shi2.
Of course C superstar like Lesley Cheung, Jet Li etc.

So, it is an Absolute honour for Leo to get 2, I bet one Runyu and One Modern.
But praying for One Runyu and One TTJ?
