The fact that TTOETM got CMG + CCTV highest scores among all the top IP for CPOP 2023-2025 AND Whispers of Fate scores is even higher almost 100% this year topping TTOETM and again no 1 winner among other big IP are incredible.
It's even more amazing they reselected TTOETM to be into the top 10 CPOP 2026. This is really showing they Gov had a really hard time picking their IP.

The real IP itself is clear, it is Luo Yunxi the actor.

This drama production quality, plot and characters are above Shadow Punisher. This is my favorite drama last year and still this year. I rewatch the beautiful scenes so many times.

Slowly but surely, the rating is getting higher. It should be 8.7 without the initial downvoting during airing. SP is receiving rave reviews from so many late watcher on XHS in china who then turn into Luo Yunxi fans.

To expect each of Luo Yunxi character to be as complex as Tan Tai Jin or Tang Li Ci are not realistic. It's good enough for popular actor to snag one of those big and complex character in their entire career, but in fact LYX already has 3 great costume character, Runyu, TTJ and TLC (Chu Wanning, too, the nuclear bomb buried). In reality no actor can do only those really big characters every project. So far Lyx has portrayed Li Si to the max and it is his acting that elevate this drama.

The difference between him and many others are. Luo Yunxi creates classic not only play his character. Not surprising from someone who read the FULL script many times not only his parts. He really put a lot of hard work and his heart and soul to embody his character. This is an actor who truly loves each one of his characters that he remembers other supporting actors lines a year later.

Just finished Shadow Punisher and honestly, I’m satisfied with the ending. It leaves the door open for a Season 2, though I’m keeping my expectations realistic about whether we’ll get one. This is easily one of the very few dramas I’ve managed to finish this year—it was just such an entertaining ride. A series of Chinese horror/mystery events tied into the main plot, without being scary.

The ending felt a little rushed, which makes sense since it was originally filmed for longer eps before C-ent platform forced it into 30 episodes. But as always, Luo Yunxi completely delivered. He makes Li Si feel so alive and real. For me, the most memorable moments were Li Si and Li San’s final scene, and that scenes where Xixi plays the Eunuch.

Now it would be a long winter wait until we'll see Luo Yunxi is another great character.

Among the traffics no one can match his acting.

Yes, year after year I feel the changes here. I do hope China can have several more drama like this. However right now budget cut is the themes in new productions.

Every year, CCTV & China Media Group (CMG) select top Chinese IPs that have made a significant impact overseas, introducing Chinese IP to the world. This year's selections incl. Nezha 2, Immortal Ascension (the animation, not the drama), and The Guardian of the Blade animation. Shui Long Yin achieved the highest CPOP score with an incredible 99.96 out of 100. Meanwhile, Till the End of the Moon is the only IP to be re-selected for this year’s CPOP, TTOETM also got highest CPOP score from 2023 to 2025.
The gov. is currently hosting an exhibition for these CPOP winners and will typically promotes theIP winners across several countries overseas. Shui Long Yin earned its top grade largely because many international fans (Luo Yunxi's global fanbase) have traveled to China to visit the Shui Long Yin town and other Chinese tourist destinations—especially Chengdu, since it is Luo Yunxi's hometown.

Praying praying Li Si will be fine....at the end.

Tomorrow Gui Mudan and Tang Li Ci finally met on other universe...bring it on. This time as loving brothers, I hope, since everyone can be a suspect in this drama....

I love watching actor who can act.....

It should have been 8.6-8.7 if it was not downrated by hundreds of account one in span of just 1 hour, after slowly going back to normal, it was downvoted again the same styles. Both here and IMDB at the same time, slowly it goes up to 8.1. But regardless, this drama has achieved the impossible. Mango most watched drama in 10 years and gave it the most profitable quarterly profit in 12 years. The most viewed chinese drama in Thailand platform history. There is so much more I summary on the discussion above. The only new drama selected by C Gov to represent Chinese Pop culture going global in 2026 (the other Ttoetm)

But we all know MDL is only for romance drama watcher.

Imo, Luo Yunxi already showed his great acting in the series Broker, unfortunately too much side couple filler ruining the drama.

We haven’t heard any official news yet, but many signs he is leaving. Leaving an agency where he is the main bread winner isn’t going to be easy, they will try their best to make it difficult for him. More likely than not, he is going solo.

LOL really? Douban is full of haters. I don't want to go there.

No Till the end of the Moon. This is the most evil but the most beautiful Demon God ever existed in Chinese Drama.....

No romance at all by episodes 20. Brotherhood between detectives, yes.

Absolutely, it is utterly so satisfying to watch actors who can act in the sea of wooden idol actors.

I'm someone who watch what pp said no 1 drama in 2026 like 1 episodes done in 5 minutes LOL. I haven't push FF button so far. The more episodes the better. I usually expect by episodes 10-16, it would be filler but so far the plot keeps plotting.....

Ep 20-21 What a heart wrenching episode. Li Si in such utter pain and heartbreak. These 2 episodes is culmination of every lie, betrayal and painful farewell. Li Si did not forget the kindness, even made his favorite pancake, in turn His master left him with pills and hints of how to cure Li Si.

What makes me satisfied as a watcher is a full confrontation between actor who knows how to act, and between Li Si, MR and Master their acting are so satisfying.

This drama is so underrated and should not be left without any promotion both from platform and producers. But the plot stands on its own and it’s even getting better each episode.
This is literally the best costume mystery drama I’ve watched so far.

Luo Yunxi once again showed his acting prowess. How many times I saw him stabbed and in so much pain from all his dramas, but each time he manages to deliver a different type of pain and tearful scenes. Luo Yunxi, the actor you are.
