Has it been renewed for a second season? I read a rumor... how true is it?
All we know is a chat between scriptwriter and producer days before drama airs, producer asked scriptwriter to start S2. But whether it will be produced or not we don't know atm.

Title Immortality
All these HD Leaks 😢
….some are old but this time it’s HD, some are new leaks.

Luo Yunxi’s acting skill has already been proven through his portrayals of Tan Tai Jin and Tang Li Ci, where he captured the essence of two of the most complex characters in C-drama with depth and cements them as Classics. Watching the latest leaks and every single photo during filming, it’s clear that his embodiment of Shizun is perfect—every gesture, every look carries the weight of our beloved Shizun.

For me, the wait of more than six years doesn’t matter; true classics are never bound by time.
HYX is a classic and still one of the best script ever written in C Drama.

I will be forever waiting for Shizun and Moran....

So LYX will join the crew very soon.
This news was denied by LYX fans club, so let's wait and see. After all he is in the process of leaving his agency.

Shui Long Yin (SLY) is the Chinese name for Whispers of Fate. Sorry, my reply should be directed to Pinklotus12. The user I mentioned earlier is Cappuccino Gal, who—along with her group—ruined the atmosphere here by waging a SELECTIVE feminism war ONLY for her favorites. She stayed quiet and even acted as a cheerleader when her group engaged in slut-shaming and body-shaming other female characters and actresses. You’re lucky you didn’t experience this during the airing.

Male Lead (ML) fans refer to Luo Yunxi’s fans.
On Whispers of Fate Feb 24, 2026
4 months aft. its release, Whispers of Fate remains a cultural phenomenon. Winning 🥭TV 2025 and the highest record-holder on Migu, WoF has inspired Shanghai’s Yangpu District to build a CNY market street themed around WoF—the 1st gov.-backed TV drama street for the CNY. The project boosted local vendors and drew huge crowds, reinforcing the WoF popularity. According to the Shanghai gov., WoF is a top popular TV IP, and vendors at the WoF University street market are thriving.

Luo Yunxi has consistently elevated lesser-known IPs—Immortality, Till the End of the Moon, and Whispers of Fate—into major successes, generating billions in tourism revenue across China. With Whispers of Fate and The Truth Within, he continues to prove himself as a rare actor who transforms overlooked IPs into popular cultural phenomena and tourism drivers, with government claims backing this impact.
On Whispers of Fate Feb 24, 2026
I have said many times that Whispers of Fate will go down as a CLASSIC together with Till the End of the Moon, and this is the early sign below:

On Douban, a place that is not Luo Yunxi-friendly, A Pool of period drama that you can rewatch countless times and never get tired of. Here are the current top 10 results, including likes:

• Whispers of Fate – 280
• Till the End of the Moon – 152
• Blood River – 49
• Mysterious Lotus Casebook – 43
• Nirvana in Fire – 37
• Journey to the West – 29
• Wu Xin: The Monster Killer – 18
• Chinese Paladin– 15
• Judge Dee’s Mystery – 11

Others comprise more than 37 drama titles with no significant votes, mostly previous classics like Legend of Zhen Huan, with a few new dramas in the past few years.

For TTEOTM, Youku is pushing marketing during this CNY, 3 yrs after its release, a sign of its long tail.

Again, Luo Yunxi has proven, a drama with good script and production team without big noise and large marketing supported by LYX’s excellent acting can be silent majority choices.

btw better ignored that user above capp.gal. She now turn a SLY hater who pretends to defend feminism only when it benefits her fav, A Shui. During airing, she & her gang attack anyone criticizing her character/acting, labeling them condescendingly as BL lovers, misogynists, or women haters. Yet she hypocritically ignores—and fuel fire—when her group body-shames and rudely tears down EVERY OTHER female character, esp Chen Yao. It was those she attacked whom defended all these F characters.

After years of pushing a romance narrative despite repeated told that SLY is not a romance drama, she was proven wrong. Bitter, she cherry-picking data to undermine SLY’s extraordinary achievements.
In open forums, user is free to like/dislike or critique both M/F characters or acting skills without being attacked by her & her gang’s double standards.

Her current goal is obvious: spreading hate toward ML fans at every opportunity across different drama pages. There have been too many victims of her petty behaviour in this page for years.

David Chuang, the international award-winning scriptwriter/director of TTW, said about Luo Yunxi in interviews for a Thailand publication:

“He has never seen such a focused actor. He devoted himself wholeheartedly, not only fulfilling the requirements of the script but also giving the character new life, allowing the audience to feel the inner strength of the character.”

His views on Qi Si Zhe: “Luo Yunxi’s unique charm—working with this actor gave the director the opportunity to delve into the character’s inner world. Through David Chuang’s lens, the story of forensic pathologist Qi Si Zhe was imbued with unprecedented depth, inseparable from Luo Yunxi’s performance.”

He said: “What I admire most about Luo Yunxi is his sincerity and his attitude of treating his roles as works of art. He is an extremely dedicated actor, and in this industry, he possesses a rare ability that allows the audience to feel the emotions of his characters without needing to say a word.”

“He has remarkable talent for shaping a character. He understands that the essence of acting lies in the unspoken. He infuses his own emotions, experiences, and understanding of life into every scene, making every breath of the character feel real. Acting is no longer ‘playing a role’ but becomes sincere expression stemming from belief and coming from the heart.”

Luo Yunxi’s excellent acting, artistry and resilience haven’t gone unnoticed—CCTV highlighted him at the Chinese New Year Gala preheating. While other actors played games and received lucky charms, CCTV showcased his calligraphy, ballet, dubbing skills, and even had him voice Nezha. Instead of a charm, he was given a “Best Acting Award” trophy. They remarked, “Lucky Luo Yunxi quit calligraphy after half a semester, otherwise the industry would have lost such an outstanding actor.”

CCTV even honored him with a poem: “A pine tree stands tall against the wall, silently bearing witness to a thousand autumns.” A perfect reflection of his low key strength—always honing his craft despite storms, never wavering from his goal of being a good actor.

His acting speaks for itself; anyone watching his recent dramas knows he’s a rare talent. Beyond acting, he shines as a League of Legends spokesperson, achieving super rare double Pentakills in recent LOL event friendly matches, even defeating JackeyLove, the legendary youngest world champion of 2018. Despite triumphing against pros and champions, he stays humble, always crediting his teammates: “It’s my teammates who let me win.”

I agree—unless LYX is focused and treats his character as a work of art, he wouldn’t be able to portray such complexity. Indeed, he has embodied some of the most complex costume characters in C-drama, like Tan Tai Jin and, more recently, Tang Li Ci.

SLY feels like a project born from the regret of HYX never airing. The producer and LYX clearly wanted to show what they couldn’t with HYX. The link can be opened with web version, it is worthwhile to read thanks for both authors for breaking it down so deeply. After reading, I feel there won't be another drama like SLY in the past and doubt if there will be in the future.

Imo, we can expect HYX CGI to be 82-90% from TTOETM which is better than even todays most C Drama CGI. What is certain for me is HYX has the best story and support cast among the 3 Otter Triology. Our biggest concern should be the editing, it is certain they won't air this in 2 parts so what they cut and how it affect the storyline?

😂Just joking among fellow Immortality long time clown who has been in agony waiting for Immortality drama for 6 years now, introducing anyone to immortality drama is not a good idea....don't take it to heart. But well, if you want this standard of CGI the only other that is close is The Immortal Ascension. These 2 are my fav drama in 2025.

I will always have a soft spot for Chi Yun. His character theme song hits different within the first thirty episodes…
I was initially worry about the actor ability to portray CY, never heard of his name and my general dislike for newbie acting. But all I can say is Ao Ziyi is 99% Chi Yun in real they found the perfect Chi Yun, he does not have to act he already is CY. Outside TLC, CY is my 2nd most fav character

Is he currently filming any drama? I saw the list, only 2 dramas waiting to be aired.
No, Lyx is expected to leave his long time agency this summer. Melon said he still owes his agency one more drama, but most of his fans hope he does not film anything until July when he is expected to leave.
