BL and ZLY are not on the same level for acting. BL acting is comparable to TSY, Li Qin, Li Yi Tong.
ZLY is comparable to those who won major serious awards. I'm picky when it comes to acting, I can pointed out tons where I wish BL did better for YXW, LSS and SJ. Her costume drama are really long, better wait till Legends of Shenli is out. I watched Story of Ming Lan, Princess agent, even a modern rural drama that I usually don't watch, because her acting is good even when she was young. But I dropped Legends of Fei.

Yeah, u should try to watch her drama, she has real acting skill which is imo super rare in China among actress. Like C drama has sev good M actors but v rare good actress. The only thing I heard abt ZLY is because she is good, she got slandered a lot in C ent. A little like Lyx I heard. I'm not her fans, I like Liu Yi Fei , but LYF acting is far bellow ZLY.
ZLY is good at creating character and make it her own. Her eyes is like LYX, can emote and talk, and she has a big actress aura. Her screen presence is big. In her age she is the best.
For me, as long as actress fans not Bullying Leo really bad, I don't pay attention, but if they do, I stop watching all their drama.
