I watch tons of other dramas too, but now I will be more selective of the actor/actress. I only want watch those with better acting, because nothing irritate me the most than bad acting. I can go with slow boring drama if the acting is great. But I normally just watch quietly and not commenting on their drama page.

There were news that he kept losing his projects bfr because it was leaked and competitors grabbed them (if they can offer investment mostly) so now, it is difficult to hear the real news. Most what you heard 99% will be fake melon, he has abt 25 fake casting Melon in a year.
My hope for him is he bought he IP himself and sell them to production company so he can play what he wants and take control of the production. His modern drama ROI is also not bad, esp LCR last year was Huace no 4 $ maker in the whole 2022. LIS was v good. L2L had enough ads otherwise Jinhe the producer won't work with Leo 3x like Otter here.

Otters Studio is part of Quantum Costume department. Most int fans don't think LYX is v popular, but in China sm data comps confirmed his name in costume is easy to attract inv for S-S+ projects. I bet Otter as new comp also using him 3x for all their dramas so far to attract inv. I heard his fees is lower than those with the same popularity. Each one of his costume has been a good ROI for producers. LYX actually already got his 3rd project wt Otter last year, bfr any of his drama air (Immortality - TTOETM). And Otter spent the budget wisely, when they do S+ it is the real $$$ for S+ unless like tons of Tencent S+ which some of them looks like a A class drama.
