Producer stated LYX is their best choice, cause TTJ is so complex but elegant at the same time, there is Ming Ye character who is God and they specifically said this character is not for everyone...One must look immortal
I did ask myself the same ?, I hv a candidate Zhu Yi Long, he has the ability to play this as good as LYX, but in term of Immortal vibes he lost.....ZYL is a movie actor now, so surely he is not interested. But LYX was chosen before script is done, as soon as the IP was bought. LYX had more than 1 yrs to figure out TTJ role.

The make up director is already getting tons of criticism in China Like LYX does not need too white make up and that wing liner, his skin is not bad and those lipstick on all the guys...They should tone it down.
