I watched quite a bit of C drama costume, and hardly ever satisfied with the acting, except for a the older more experience actors. A good actor can bring out the character even better than script regardless of director.
A good actor does not need voice actor dubbing (no excuse, accent, not matching voice etc..because it is an actor job, they need to learn). Before they can do that I can't say they are good actors.
Both ML actors are young, they can grow more.....in acting.....so far it does not come to the point where I cringe but yeah....here for the story not the actor. Except LXY here cause he looks hot that bald hair....

And popular actor can film 3 dramas a year, at least 2 a year. Top Tiers drama actor now a days can charge $6-7M USD for S+ (highest budget) class drama. But this drama at most is A/B+ class drama, not high budget. My rough estimation for leads actor of this drama is abt $1.5-2M USD. But again most of this will go to their agent, usually more than 50%. 45% then on actor income tax (in the past only 20%).
ML/FL are paid per drama, but support actors are paid per eps and the difference can be huge between ML/FL and support actors. I don't think you can become investor for the drama, the only thing u can do is invest in the production company if they are public company.

Playing cold character successfully without facial paralysis is difficult. Honestly only very few young C actor can do it. If the plot was not this good, I would have run fast….story is really good…but acting is not the strong point of this drama, except for the older actors who can act well.

I never heard Untamed/WOH are taken down from Chinese platform. The only changes they made for WOH is not showing ZZH pictures. So should still be there but they don't allow new BL adaptation to air, this does not apply to 2MLs drama if not adapted from BL novel. The ones that should be the safest now is a A League of Nobleman, this has license too. If this air....there is big chances HYX can air too.
