kwanto

I feel rating here is superficial

Maiko is Geisha trainee...J Drama only when you are familiar with their culture, they way the talk etc. Otherwise it might be too fake for sm pp. But I do have a number of J friends so I know that their acting is v natural.

Antis in China often shows wedding leaks as one reason why HYX should not air....cause it's wedding between the 2 guys....

It's a great production, no annoying FL, you can completely focus on the Plot.
Good acting from most casts too.

On eps 13....still want to smack ZP 🤣🤣🤣High IQ and Low EQ, he won't survive a week in court.

I hope this is a 40 eps drama and not 29........It's been a while since we get a good costume drama with beautiful productions.

I love watching JBR too, this guy has good acting skill (incl good line delivery)....

who knows which one comes first clown....

In General, Very handsome in costume means 100% handsome in modern, but Very handsome in modern does not always translate to handsome in costume.
For men, costume is the big test of how handsome they are....We see example when modern looks great and costume turn out to be disaster.....

After all, we hope that TTEOTM is doing well, it was good that CGI not finished and not aired during CNY. Cause all dramas aired during CNY good/bad all have been knocked out by "The Knockout" drama, dominated 60% of the drama market. Most watched drama in Qiyi History ever, and most watched drama in CCTV in the past many years too. Douban rating 9.1...but well maybe the type of drama for China alone and not for International.

If TTOETM aired, it would lose money. All attention is on that drama alone.

Yeah, not surprised, LYX fans had said 2nd part still not done. A good Xianxia with this many eps usually take a year to finish. Our best hope is Late March/April, but let's be patient and wait till Summer. Better CGI is important. Please no IS/The Starry Love aweful CGI....

I hope this does not go to Hot Search....this is one of the Leaks that might backfire us later, like the wedding leaks....
Because Antis will hype up lifting the veil with some sort of wedding song that LYX is singing.

TTEOTM is Youku costume most expensive productions to date....it is 400M RMB

3799 leaks, they had a shorter version years ago, this is a longer versions.....

If u want a really good FL drama. I just watched The Makanai, cooking for the Maiko House at Netflix. My 1st J drama. OMG, I'm blown away. It's beautiful, heart warming, soothing, comfortable....The best chemistry I watched from any drama BL,GL, BG etc...period. On top of that the acting from every single cast there....very natural....almost like watching them in real life and not acting....About friendship of 2 young girl on their way to become Maiko.

So maybe they do want to wait till summer....Melon said industry evaluation of TTOEM is high and could be Youku trump card this year....

Well, as long as I get to watch good drama elsewhere that's fine, and esp HYX hahaha....

This music video is from HYX OST director with a clip of the song he created for CWN.....
He posted that 3 years ago, and now he adds CWN fav lotus cake in in his post....

Chemistry will be awesome. They both will turn the entire filming set into League of Legends competitions...and both will scream all the time off screen...that would be fun hahaha....

MDL

hahaha...100% correct answer.....

Well if only those in China can do the same.....because that's what matters, we international audience/fans are too small in number.

How many will finish 10 new eps tomorrow? 🤣
Ideally we should watch 1 or 2 eps per day...but yeah...impossible.....
