Someone who read both said the script fixes all the logical bugs in the original novel and significantly builds out the mythology, character development, tertiary characters. More sophisticated than the older xianxia dramas in cause more foreshadowing, thematic coherence, better pacing - like a Harry Potter movie.

In China all highly popular upcoming dramas have their script sold online, both BL and BG, as fast as a few weeks after they finished filming. So HYX script leaks is nothing special. But the continuous leaks is the one worrying. So far HYX is filmed for 50 Eps and was approved for 50 eps, means not a lot of cutting. But this license only valid 2 yrs (till Feb 23) after that needs another approval...then we don't know if they will cut more...
