TTJ darkness is what making me anticipating this more. I always want to see LYX playing a vampire and this is the closest that it gets to ...But I suppose as usual they will reduce his darkness. Did you see leaks of TTJ as the ancient Demon King...the evil vibes he has...OMG

IMO actually I think the novel doesn't hv tons of storyline (compares to like Immortality) for 40 eps and looks like we are getting tons of 2nd + 3rd couple romance. Most C drama at some point gets boring b'cause of filler plot ...But at least grateful that this is 40 eps not 50.

Several proofs this is not banned:
1. HYX disappeared from all ranking list in China since last Aug (during Crack Down), every list drop BL adaptation. But since Jan, it’s back on powerstar list & almost every week it’s still top 10. If it is banned, Power star won’t even dare to put it back, too risky 4 them.
2. Leads + Support actress still mentioned HYX in their upcoming works, as fresh as last week. CFY is dad is influential, he knows if it's safe/not 4 CFY 2 mention HYX in his upcoming works.
3. HYX still on trending weibo regularly. Since ent, trending weibo are bought not free, why spend $ on something that is dead. HYX also already has passed censorship.
4. HYX weibo supertalk gains 200K follower this yr only. C fans should know situation better than Int fans.

I’m still at 20%, So far I saw many scenes fr the novel: Caddie town, JinChen Lake, etc. For ranwan moments expect this like a little more than TU not WOH level.
But maybe too early to say. I don’t want to finish reading cause afraid what if I finish HYX still not air. One good thing is NO filler at all so far, what I read everything is in the novel. BUT Also kept in mind the script needs to evade many things in C censorship such as Mr rebirth etc…

Yeah, MTL translation is hard 2 understand. Most of us here started with Better translation for 1/3 or the Novel but now is locked cause the official translation will be out in October.

But yes story is complicated but in really good way. I only understand it after reading twice. But no regret , I read them 3x now. It's really good.

When 10cents realizes they can’t get the investment back, perhaps they look at Netflix. It’s just how much Netflix wants to buy HYX, it costs abt 55M$ to make HYX. That is too expensive for Netflix. 10cents will wait till 2023 at least.

I read abt 20% of the script so far. I really love the ending, different fr novel, but considering the censorship I’m satisfied …. I don’t think censorship will cut these ending, there is no reason. HYX got license pretty fast 5 months after filming meaning that meant what they film were mostly accepted and not going back and forth. Pp is going to be angry if it turned into BE and film party knows this.

The most noisy Melon air date is April 8 or August or 2023…haha 😂😂…we need to restock more clown mask…our clown journey is long and hard…🤡🤡😭 .Let’s wait till Friday and Saturday.
