FYI, Feb 10th NRTA-guidelines 4 d next 5 yrs DID NOT say banning BL adaptation to air, it mentioned Industry Monopoly, Actor Fee, Make High Quality TV drama, etc. (welcome to add/ revise).
But, there r new rules banning ads promoting BL. Chinese Ghost story had HYX games but disc Jan 31. An Muxi Shot Ads wt LYX-CFY in HYX costume, KFC, Bazaar Magazine 2 pp shot, we won’t see those. So far this is GOOD news.

For me as long as we get to see HYX soon, I won’t complain abt anything at all.

Make High Quality TV Drama = not using “traffic actor wt no acting skill”. HYX has super strong supporting actors, LYX will blow us away as CWN, CFY acting is green but he changed nationality fr US to C Citizen, so for HYX airing this is a plus. Among all BL, HYX has best team, it should has d most probability to air. Hyx script should be safe enough & still following the novel. It has license on hand too :) :) :)

Sabrina/Chen Yao as Shi Mei. Lots of news abt if HYX want 2 air must change 2 BG, CY becomes FL, Moran as ML. Impossible cause Shi Mei is villain, can’t pass censor if villain becomes the Female Lead.

Fr reading d script (still @20%) Hyx is like untamed abt bromance. Scriptwriter said bfr what should be there will be there what should not will not be there. I agreed, HYX tried their best & safest route by following novel major (not minor) storyline.

At this point, we already win if it air. So yeah, don't keep u’r hope 2 big abt bromance. The script is "safe" enough so far I read, but that also meant among other BL HYX has d most probability to air (got license- good storyline-safe enough).

Fake news abt making CY as FL, not possible, like how? A Villain as FL? That won’t pass trial.

Yang Zi - Deng Lun acting are good esp. Yang Zi, amazing. Everyone acting in AOL is good which is super rare in C drama. Runyu is amazing because the character is so well written & LYX made Runyu alive with heart & soul. Either you love him or hate him depends on one preference. Since you are here you might be interested in checking Immortality ML, Luo Yunxi (he & Seven played movie together for both their debut into acting and they are good friend ‘till today). His Runyu in AOL is deemed by Chinese Official as A Classic character in the last decade. Runyu is 2nd lead but because of this Role, LYX become famous because his acting is really good here. BTW while Seven was shooting Sword & Brocade, LYX was shooting AOL, he often visited her during free time and ate fruit together. Seven said LYX never forget to send her red envelope every birthday. As good friend hope the 2 can corporate again in the future.

So far from what I read, the drama adaptation is following the novel in a smart way to avoid the censorship (rebirth, gore, etc the list goes on and on) but whether or not at the end it got cut we don’t know.

He is back to normal in his Light chaser rescue filming. Costume drama is exhausting; a lot of actor/actress lost 10+ kg during filming.

A few days ago TGCF adaptation finishing filming, 9 days after everyone reported BL adaptation is banned. Jan 16th, director of Chasing the light (modern BL adaptation) posted on his weibo: Chasing the light completed the editing, a good show is not afraid to be late.
All these directors & investors are not fool to burn extra money if it is no way to air BL adaptation. Not only they posted these topics, there were even hot search on weibo, certainly both Eternal Faith and Chasing the Light are not trying to be low profile.
