Finished it. It was a really bad ending. It felt rushed, and there was no pay off at all over the last 7 episodes invested. The errant law enforcers were not punished in any way, further emphasizing the hopelessness of the judicial system. I get that it happens way too often in reality, but as a drama it just left a bad taste for an audience. Also didn't like how they dealt with Ji Tae's end. Note: It was a really good production though. Very nice cinematography.
Caught up to ep 6 and this production is one of the crispiest productions I've seen for a kdrama. Amazing production values. Thoughts so far: Hyun Soo frustrates me so much, it's like he's actively trying to sabotage himself. With all he's been through since incarcerated, I would've thought he would grow a pair and start defending himself instead of just crying. I understand most people would be shocked in these situations, but it's high time he snapped out of it. Or...he could be the killer. Anyway 2 more eps to go.
Yasss! They could've contained the high school years to 4 episodes and it would just worked fine. But I'm glad the time skip is finally happening and looks like the plot will be moving at long last. Can't wait for epi 7!
You didn't understand the warning, she didn't tell her to stop helping him because she was wrong but because she…
Yea I get it, the principal never cared about anyone other than her own agendas. But my point is, Yoon Soo could've still helped Seung Yoo within her professional boundaries and in less compromising settings. She's now just putting herself and Seung Yoo at risk with her actions from the many nefarious forces aiming at them. But of course we won't have a drama without these plots lol.
Caught up to epi 4 and still liking it alot, but I wish they would pick up the pace. I like the math aspect, but the school politics and shenanigans are super boring. Yoon Soo (teacher) is also acting very unprofessional toward a student. She was even warned by the enemy (principal) to take care of her actions, but yet the plot made her so naive. Hopefully the time skip will happen soon and the plot to get better.
The first 2 episodes set up the corrupt high school world and it's characters. Loving the main leads' performance and the story for now. As for the romance setup, I think we don't need to worry about that. As of now, the ML seems to be just having a crush/looking up to a role-model kind of emotions. There's no indication at all on the FL side of having any romantic interests in her student. She's just interested in helping a brilliant student who's lost and alone. If there are any romantic feelings, it will probably not happen during the school years. I'm guessing it will be after the time skip.
Interesting drama, and some depiction of life during the olden days in china. I'm at EP16, but I really can't stand Jiang Mei and Grandma. Like hello?? The guy doesn't like you, get the hint...
Why tissues it has sad ending? I watched 3 eps but it's amazing but i didn't cry btw i like it unique series btw…
I guess everyone processes things differently. There are sad moments in every episode, but it is also hopeful and just a part of life. Just enjoy it. =)
Just finished this amazing drama. Each case tells a different story, and yet similar in the sense that we are all merely human and death is just part of life. Beyond death, we leave behind our earthly belongings - every piece tells a story. Acting is on point from everyone, especially Tang Jun-sang - so young and yet so brilliant. Lee Je Hoon is amazing as usual, along with Hong Seung Yee (Eun-ho in Navillera) and every other cameos. Please watch this amazing gem, but prepare lots of tissues. ='(
What an amazing drama. The scene that I loved the most from the final episode was the airport scene when haraboji hugged Chae Rok, hoping to not forget him. I think it was a good call from the production to not focus on romance, as the core relationship between Deok Chul and Chae Rok - from strangers to being someone important in each other's lives, in spite of their age.
Am I the only one who thinks that the “revenge” on the bullies is a bit too overboard? I mean those kids were…
I think they sort of heighten the dramatics a bit cos well its a drama after all, but I think the kids got what they deserved. What they did to their victims could very well end up to be life long traumas, and their actions were definitely malicious to the point of serious injuries. Sure, the kids got scared a little, but not once did the ML use any physical violence on them. The opposite was much worse for the victims, and I think at their age (ard 18 i think for SK high schoolers) they are well aware of what's wrong and not. I doubt any softer methods will work, as the ML said, they're immune to it already. But I agree, it could go either way for the bullies, it might push them even more or they will learn their lesson. Anyway, interesting series so far!
Caught up to the latest ep14. It's pretty good so far, with a mixture of action and cute. Although the theme is similar to DOTS, but the plot is quite different. Acting is on point for everyone, lead couple and secondary couple are all very likeable. The first few eps were rather slow, but it has picked up now that all the main players are in the same disaster setting. So far so good, hoping it gets better!
I'm still watching this but I feel like Ro Woon and Won Jin Ah don't have much chemistry nor spark. I like both actors, but together it's kind of lackluster. In fact, I think she had more chemistry with the manager, Lee Hyun Wook. I've watched both actors' older dramas as well, and they had much better chemistry with their other halves there. (Won Jin Ah with Jun Ho / Ro Woon with Kim Hye Yoon) Anyway, it's an ok watch overall, just not super invested. P.S. I also like the ML's sister and director storyline.
Is this scary? I'm keen to watch this but not very fond of ghost/horror genre. To gauge, I've watched Lost Tomb, Ultimate Note etc and I don't think those are scary. Can someone care let me know? I don't mind spoilers =D
Note: It was a really good production though. Very nice cinematography.
