I've watched the first Lost Tomb with Li Yi Feng as Wu Xie, followed up by Mystic Nine and skipped the others in between but finished this one. The storyline for the first 2 were good but I think Ultimate Note has the best bromance and I love that they're so protective of Wu Xie. Overall, it was a great watch but unfortunately the casts will change in the next installment. =(
Just finished! Enjoyed the ride from start to finish. Super awesome. Hyun Soo's growth was abit slow, but it happened nevertheless! Can't wait for season 2!
Amazing live adaptation. I did not read the original manga, so my reviews here is purely based on the drama. Great story and acting, particularly from the main lead, Shi Guang (Hu Xian Xu). He was exceptionally stellar, but the other casts were super good as well.
Usually Chinese dramas will have lots of filler episodes in the middle, but this one has minimal and every episode just flows smoothly. This one joins the ranks of great manga to live adaptations from China such as The King's Avatar (2019) and The Prince of Tennis (2019).

Hey, thanks for explaining! Have they revealed what the parasite does? Except for that one time in the earlier episodes when Li Cu was like possessed by the parasite and his eyes went black. I'm still liking the show so far, but it's a shame I couldn't fully understand it. T_T

The editing for this show is super confusing. I'm still following the story up to episode 40 raw, but I couldn't understand much of the details where the story's going cos theres no eng sub. How did Wu Xie and the gang popping in and out of Gu Tong Jing as they like? And was Li Cu picked at random(by the crazy dude from the first episodes) or was he the destined one to go for this expedition? Can someone who knows please enlighten me?
Went into this with pretty low expectations as Seo Kang Joon's acting can be a hit or miss. Surprisingly, it's pretty fun and engaging so far. First time watching Jang Ki Yong as the main lead. He's pretty good for a rookie actor. Very soulful performance as Chae Do Jin/Na Moo. Nam Da Reum is great as the child counterpart too. I love Nam Joo Hyuk too, but I'm very glad he turned down this drama as I don't think he'll be able to carry the main lead. Looking forward to more episodes!
