Absolute waste of time. Dropped halfway after I found out the whole plot wasn't about the flood at all. Title was misleading, it was never about the disaster and instead they went with AI nonsense and rebuilding mankind. I find that Koreans filmmakers (sci-fi especially) tend to be too ambitious and end up veering off path. (i.e. When the stars gossip, Space sweepers, The silent sea)
does anyone know if this drama will be too horror? like are there ghosts and such..? bc i can’t watch those…
sameee...I'm ok with gore and monsters, but not ghostly spirit stuff. I hope it's more of a slapstick horror kind, since the horror genre is missing from the tags.
Is this any good? Thinking of watching, but a bit wary with chinese wuxia/xianxia dramas since they tend to start off strong but drags in the middle. Is this worth watching?
Production value for this is so bad and the CGI reminds me of 2000s era. But...it's strangely entertaining and funny. The storyline is very breezy and definitely an easy watch, just don't take it seriously and enjoy the ride. Villain characters are very dumb and used as comic relief.
One of the best dramas I've watched in recent years. Storyline, acting, pacing and humor were all top notch. Wasn't expecting much when I started as epi 1 was rather slow, but it picked up immediately after and every episode delivered right until the end. Definitely hoping for season 2 as I feel they've got more story to tell. Overall, a great series that will join my list of greats like Hikaru no go, Move to heaven, King's avatar, Prison playbook etc.. 10/10 Kudos to the main lead, Tseng Jing Hua for perfectly portraying the many layers of Pu yi yong.
It's a shame this show is not more popular. It's has everything one could ask for in a good drama; great storylines, acting, chemistry, emotional, humor and even the pacing is great. Each episodic cases are interesting on its own and ties well to the main storyline. Let's hope more people will hop on this ride! plus the male leads are really cute too~
YiYong broke my heart when he realised he could see ghosts too and immediately ran off to try and find the ghost…
I don't think Yi Yong's power relates to seeing ghosts only. The first story was of a kappa possessing the dead body, so it's more like supernatural. The stories so far are more folklore than the typical ghost story.
Went in without expecting much but it's surprisingly so good! Caught up with all 4 epis, and the stories were nice and meaningful too. Acting was good too especially Yi Yong and mum. The emotional scenes made me teary. Can't wait for new eps!
I really like Cha Eun Woo and his character, my fave so far. But I really need my man to take acting classes.…
Yesss, his visuals are top notch but I had a hard time telling if his character was nervous or just cocky/calm during the monster scenes. I wasn't sure what he was supposed to feel in that situation. He looks really good in casual clothes though. XD
Caught up with the latest ep 22. Really enjoying this so far, but I find strawberry world so boring. Their time in cheese world was much more interesting and the relationship dynamics there were so good. Cheese world dad and pei zhi's confrontation was amazing and sad.
I've watched up to ep 10 and I think I'm dropping this. It's a very mediocre drama so far, they focused too much on their relationship angst. I expected a badminton drama with teamwork, underdog triumphing, along with some budding romance, but no they went full angsty melodrama. Disappointing. Racket Boys handled this much better.
Feng Ju spilling facts in ep34! I applaud him for speaking up. Disappointed with Feng Lan Xi for being such a coward. He should've killed the useless king.
This is getting good! Can't wait for ep17, damn cliffhanger. Chinese dramas have really stepped up on the mystery and crime genre. Reset was another good one.
Does anyone know how long will ML's palace schemes storyline continue for? It's getting repetitive and boring. Can he just get out and go travel the martial arts realm?
I'm at ep21 and watching it by fastforwarding lol. Such a cliched drama with every kdrama trope. I guess thats part of the 'fun' of weekend dramas. I laughed out loud when Young Guk got amnesia. How long are they gonna drag the amnesia plotline? I can't stand Sa Ra so I kept FF her scenes. Also, why does Dan Dan keep crying every single scene? She's so useless. The drama is pretty funny and I can't stop watching for the lols.
