Yes most are happy endings, and if there are any that don't, make sure to check the special ep for them! Chinese dramas tend to do a happy ending special loll and some are open endings since they will/have a season 2!

This drama definitely needs you to be in the right mood to watch it!
I watched it the first time and couldn't get into it cuz I just finished a thriller.

Tried it again while I was cleaning up and left it playing, and found myself continued watching. The characters, the sceneries, and the music just puts you in that calm, mellowed out mood, it somehow felt really comforting after 10 eps in.

Thisss, yes, definitely needs the right mood to watch it. I watched it the first time and couldn't get into it cuz I just finished a thriller. Tried it again while I did other things, and just kept going as it felt so comforting listening to their daily stuff lol.

one of the reasons for this drama’s popularity🔥, the use of frontal close-up angle creates an illusion of direct connection between the actor/character and the audience.
so it is like the character is talking to the watcher, creating an intimate connection.
But also a way to put the audience in the perspective of the other character behind that scene

Ok I thought I was tripping when I couldn't get into this drama even after 10 episodes in, but glad to know I'm not alone lol.
There was nothing in each episode that could hold my attention for even 10 minutes, I just kept zoning out and having to rewind to rewatch if I missed something.

He Zhong Hua is in this? Then it must be good lol. He's in all the popular dramas these past years

yess that was the exact same with me lol. long episodes was what threw me off with cdramas. but after the untamed, i wanted it to never end. and since then i've been hooked on cdramas, somehow they don't feel as long anymore lol

I think you'll really like this drama! You can usually doubt dramas with ratings around 7-8, but a drama with 9.0 ratings with almost 100k watchers?? You know it is not just hype, it's definitely a good drama! The story, the music, the acting, the chemistry. It's become one of my faves as well :)

also to be fair, asians in general look like theyre in their 20s still when they're in their early 30s, its like why many actors play a high school role even though theyre in their 20s

yes there's some bromance there!
for me i enjoyed the trio's friendship more, so i preferred it without romance. but they did manage to add (very little) romance near the end. there is romance storylines with the supporting characters though.

hm, bittersweet ending for me. i feel like its open for interpretation

actually dramas get filmed all year round, like the untamed filmed during the hot season april-august, so off screen the actors are just wiping their sweat and then consistently reapplying sunscreen lol
