guys, should i watch it?? someone recommended me it as for bromance, i wonder if its worth watching. Knowing chinese…
more brotherhood/friendship than bromance (tad bromance. if you’ve seen the untamed, the untamed is more bromance since it’s a bl censored adaptation) but the story and chemistry between the cast & characters are definitely worth the watch!
such eccentric, unconventional characters! I understand why the ratings are high for this drama. it’s storytelling is different and dialogues short and to the point in some scenes, omitting needless word fillers, but still delivering enough info. loving this.
sometimes when i dont know what to watch next, i go to his profile and see which (8.0+ rating) drama he's in to watch, cuz you know it's gonna be good 🤣 (blood of youth, love and redemption, ashes of love, to name a few)
criminally low amount of watchers for this masterpiece. it could and should definitely replace a couple of dramas currently on the top 20 chinese dramas on MDL right now.
wow maybe because i've seen so many mediocre dramas that i thought this one had a really good, albeit slow, start. right off the bat the audience is introduced to the characters' personality and why they are the way they are. it was some very good character building episodes, with some humor breaks in between. so far so good for me.
this has gotta be one of my most fave role of leo wu's. he was soo extraordinary in this role! so vigorous yet so gentle, and that hair on him aaahh ssjdks
halfway through romance development = nonexistent. the romance just...happens, like?? 😂 Bromance development tho takes the cake. i wish they replace all the romance with bromance instead 😅
this drama has turned out to be better than i expected! i picked it up randomly after seeing some clips of the 3 leads, good character development and character connections, and everyone just seems so important lol. ao rui peng is so cute in this role he's gotta be my fave character right now!
I'm just over half way and I'm both surprised by A) how little Wuxins character has actually been in the series…
lol yeah China has a habit of putting popular actors/actresses big and center on the promotional materials to attract audience attention. I noticed this when i watched old series where the pretty (or well known) actors are placed front when their scenes are so little compared to other main, not so popular, actors.
My goodness... what a show. A masterpiece in it's own league. My fear of watching such a long drama just blew…
i completely agree. i usually can't even handle 40 episode dramas but i was wholeheartedly invested in this drama, all 70 episodes, no boring moments. definitely hooked from the first episode. the characters were all so well written and all actors did amazing. great casting.
did they film all 1.5 hours in one continuous shot?? if that was the goal then everything happening in the bg is understandable, but also WOW that is impressive!
so far so good for me.

he is truly this generation's andy lau or aaron kwok with the acting & singing all locked in (not my words lol i've seen comparison posts & i agree)
