I would personally like to apologize to Ao Rui Peng for doubting his acting in the beginning episodes. I was so used to “bad”/ “evil” characters needing to act obviously bad or evil, but for his character specifically, he played it just right.
Saying this to give him some redemption for anyone else who also doubted him. He did really well here!
I keep saying this is why China's been dominating in the "bromance" department the past years, cuz it makes ppl want mooarrr. Thailand now doing these bromance dramas with actors that actually have chemistry be making ppl craazy and craving for moree lol love to see ittt
If the saying "it's their world, we're all just living in it" was a drama, it'd be this one. I swear all the supporting characters are just there to progress the main couple's closeness LOL.

i have to agree, it started out so good and strong. and then it just...lol. i still finished it cuz i love xu kai and bai lu together, especially after Arsenal as well! and yes I agree I really hope xu kai gets better drama roles, he has soo much potential, over a lot of other actors that are popular right now
This drama was so good, but also exhausting to watch, especially when you sorta already know how it's going to end (since it's based on historical events). i took a while to finish the last 15 eps.
And man the background music...probably one of the reasons it took long to finish. Like the music made some scenes extra desolating, i went through some turmoil while watching this lol.
Looved the middle of this drama though, around when zhou yu and zhuge liang's storyline started.
