I love that this drama doesn't wait with the plot development... Usually, all that happened today would be in a 13th episode or something ๐Ÿ’€ It's been so long since I watched a finally veeeery interesting drama as a drama-veteran! And I absolutely love Bom-ja ๐Ÿ’•

I honestly have no complains when it comes to this drama, a strong 10 out of 10 for me. It was engaging from the beginning to the end and it also had a fresh approach in a few cases out of other sageuk dramas. Perfection doesn't exist, but I really do believe that it was a case of quite consistent writing. For me, Woo Do Hwan is definitely one of the strongest actors in the game right now. This man knows what he's doing! Everyone has right to their own decision and even the negative ones are still valid, but if you have waited for the end to finally give this drama a shot, don't be concerned about the other comments. I encourage y'all to start it! Both for fun and sadness :)

Wow, are we watching the same drama? I love it so far. I'm fully aware of some corny stuff here and there, but the rest of it makes things up for me. I especially adore the girls here <3 and I'm able to find quite unusual bits. Of course I don't mean that people shouldn't have their own opinions, it's just very interesting how one piece of work can be perceived so differently by different people.

With both 1st and this season, this drama is among those I liked the most. I totally loved it, although I believe there should've been two episodes more for all the underdeveloped aspects. Maybe it was all they could have afforded, so I'm not mad - 30 episodes are a lot. I'm 99% satisfied with the ending scene, imo they could've used Yoon Jung's skills and paid the tribute to one of the strongest female lead ever in kdrama land. Considering that the character herself might have not wanted to be reminded of her times as Naksu, I kind of understand how it ended. I will miss this drama โค๏ธ

I'm glad that someone agrees! I also like the fact that there's no chaebol man - poor girl kind of romance ;)

I felt so sorry for Soo Young through the entire episode with men objectifying her :( too beautiful and too kind to be treated with respect, on top of that her work reviewed only through the perspective of her educational background, even though she had good results. Both hated and wanted... And if you're a woman who rejects someone's feelings, you will be called a bitch? Never actually comitting to anything? I don't know how her character would actually develop in the future, but that still hurt. I wonder what message we are going to get at the end of the whole drama. I'm fully aware that it's not a new topic in (also korean) media and I'm also aware of the problems in korean society (using the word "problems" in a delicate manner as I'm neither korean nor have enough knowledge and experience to fully judge it, coming from completely different culture). Sorry for the rant (even though I believe it's important) I'm just tired of patriarchy...

I started watching this series without checking other people's opinions and I'm honestly surprised of how many of you didn't even like it. It totally fit my style and I loved every minute of it. The performances were on top. I think that the whole drama is about an attempt to accept yourself and live the way you want, by the version of the real you, even if the society disagrees. Homosexual, neuroatypical or anything that doesn't fit the "standard" - the list goes on and on... At least that's what I think, and it's how I identify with the characters and the whole story. There's more stuff to dig here and I'll gladly deconstruct it all one day.

The thing I like the most about this drama so far is its reality in unlikeness of the depicted story. That reality I mean is the fact that main characters (mainly three sisters) are not only good damsels-in-distress or impossibly infallible thinkers (both types can be seen in maaany dramas) but people who make mistakes and are written quite accordingly to situation they are supposed to fit (i.e. poverty, trauma). The evidence is anger of some of you towards the characters. For example: In Kyung alcoholism = coping mechanism seen at home while being a child (from what I know pretty common in society), In Joo wearing those expensive heels to Park's house = an attempt to be seen as equal and manage shame, overall ending up as a very stupid step. Their rich aunt not helping them financially = I mean, why should she? She's not obligated to do such a thing (well, only partially didn't help - In Kyung has a very good asset of money-managent knowledge thanks to that lady, which she also didn't use - that's also pretty human - maybe it is learned helplessness?) That's what makes this show so interesting for me. It's satisfying to watch only successful characters, but overall - who is fully able to relate to them? Even this week, I made some stupid choices. That's life. I can't wait to see how this story will unfold. If they end up alive, I suggest therapy ๐Ÿ™ƒ

By the way, I wonder if the mythos about Ariadne would be somehow used in this story or not, or did they mean different Ariadne I don't know about? ๐Ÿ™ˆ I'm curious. I have some ideas but who knows.

The one that I probably felt the most sorry for while watching this drama was mr. Gu's liver. Good lord...

Joking aside (or maybe not), that was a great experience. I absolutely loved every minute of this drama. I need to rewatch it soon.

I really wish to see Hyung Sik and Hyo Joo together in a drama again. What a natural chemistry! One of the best pairings I've ever seen.
