Such a great start. I'm impressed by the director. The drama has marvellous frames, I could watch it only to see how beautiful it looks. Thankfully, I'm also fond of the story and acting. It's intriguing and built well. I can't wait to see what the rest of the scenario will bring us. The actors are great, I started to like all the main leads just at the beginning, it's a good sign. All of them are interesting. Dong Shik and female police officer Bo Kyung are great! There's no stupidity in them, they both have that funny, adorable, sincere element and charismatic second side. The psychopath, Seo In Woo... Love him. Park Sung Hoon just fits the role. I need a more time to explore his character thought. I think writing and acting the character like that sometimes can be quite... tricky.
Just for your information, if you didn't watched it yet: the episodes are long, and yes: it can be boring. This drama is a little bit different. A certain mood and amount of time actually helps. Why? It's movie-esque. I'm again mentioning the frames and style of it. Gorgeous... Sorry. I'm really fond of it, as you can read. I hope that this quality will remain to the end.
Ps. I know that some of the viewers were bored at the first episode, well, I was too. I did like it, but it somehow happened. I really got into the story just around 50 minute of the episode (which lasted 80 minutes!) So I recommend you to keep that in mind if you want to watch it. After all, subjectively it's worth it!
Even if for the most of us the ending was happy, on the other hand I still think that the whole story was just tragic and sad. Such a philosophical/existential thing. I love how the original writer of the webtoon used the Plato's theory (probably, if not then it really fits). Drama&webtoon were shining with uniqueness, however drama lost that extra spark around episode 12, maybe 11 and I started to see its flaws. To be completely honest, I didn't really wanted to watch ep. 13/14 and I'm glad that I slightly forced myself to end this story. Despite its imperfections, it was definitely worth watching. The whole cast is just amazing, they did a great job. I will miss them. ♥️
This is so good. I love my precious, captivating babies an their chemistry.
Soo Ho - that young investigator in a subway team - I didn't like that scene with vlogs and "Avocado Girl". At this scene, I thought that this character is so naive and goofy. He's an adult and a policeman, for God's sake. I don't think that it had a good overtone. They could've done it better. It's a small detail, but I just needed to share my opinion here.
The main characters' dance at the end was everything though. I can't wait for episode 6!
This is so good. I love my precious, captivating babies an their chemistry. <3 They're just suitable for each other and I have clearly seen this since episode 1 - I think it is early and actually rare. Besides the romance plot, everything is great too. I had a problem with one scene in episode 5, so I will mark my thoughts as a spoiler down here :)
Aside from how good the drama is and all of the theories, I'm shocked how great community and interest it has created. There are lots of comments and discussions, you guys are commenting continuously. Also the rating! It rise up a little bit everyday. Over a week ago we had 9.0, then 9.1 and now 9.2. Extraordinary You is now 4th drama in the overall rating here, 3rd in Korean dramas, but it's not that significant as all of them are 9.2. I didn't read any comments with strong criticism, also the constructive criticism is at a really low level. It doesn't even end on My Drama List, the same thing happens on every drama site/community I follow, and I totally got it. This drama is really extraordinary (:D) in many cases, but I've never seen something like that before. The last "very resounding" drama was Hotel Del Luna two months ago, but it wasn't on THAT level, which is kind of shocking for me. Such a huge web success! The last thing that is missing is bigger viewership in Korea, but in my opinion, it just doesn't matter and has zero worth for us/viewers.
Such a perfect, enjoyable start! Two first episodes were really good, I can't find any flaws. At first I didn't…
Oh, and that scene with water hose in ep. 2 -absolutely love it. Main leads already have a really nice chemistry, they're also great in off-romance way.
Such a perfect, enjoyable start! Two first episodes were really good, I can't find any flaws. At first I didn't want to watch it, I thought it won't be my kind of drama, but fortunately I read some very positive tweets and decided to check it. I don't regret. :D It's a must-try!
Such a great writing. Episodes 37 and 38 (19) were so exciting to watch, I can't wait for the last one, even when I'm sad that this journey finally ends. I will miss this drama and the fact that it has been airing for a long time doesn't help.
