I was so excited for this drama because of the awesome cast but politics doesn't interest me at all. I tried watching episode 1 and indeed it was so boring to me. I really wanted to like it. Will have to wait for their next dramas with other genre.
Shin Hye Sun needs to get at least a top excellence award if not daesang! I'm totally blown away by her performance in this drama! And L is really good too.
I hope Shin Hye Sun does a drama with Ji Chang Wook or Lee Joon Gi next. That would be so epic!
Daily reminder!!!! The screen writer is the screen writer of lucky romance:( I loved the ML in there but its storyline....:(((This…
Lucky Romance is a webtoon adaption so the writer is not at fault for the bad plot. Angel's Last Mission is the writers first own story and it shouldn't be compared with Lucky Romance.
I've become a fan of Z Tao now thanks to this drama. I love his songs! I want to learn more about Cpop in general but I don't know how. Does anyone know where I can find more about Cpop? There is so much about Kpop on the web but nothing about Cpop. Or I don't know where to look for it.
Just a few things to note:1) Embedding official Youtube videos [from TV networks like MangoTV] is perfectly acceptable…
Thank you for the explanation! But what about embedding Youtube videos from non offical Youtube channels? They also have About Is Love for example and this is never ever an official channel but very likely just a fan who illegaly uploaded the drama and added subs.
Where did you read that they're from Dramafever? Just curious because their about us section on their website…
Thank you!
But now this gives me another question. Someone said below if it's not Youtube videos the other few dramas they have are what used to be on Dramafever with Dramafever subs even though they say the subs are from them. So the question now is did they simply have access to these dramas because they used to work there? Did they really buy the licenses? Why do they only have Dramafever content besides Youtube otherwise? They could have bought other licenses as well if they really were contacting several production companies for the licenses. So why only Dramafever dramas?
No matter how I look at it there are not only one or two things that seem strange.
They're legal I think. Just another streaming website like netflix. I just checked their company background and…
Where did you read that they're from Dramafever? Just curious because their about us section on their website doesn't really have any useful information about them. They only say there that they're the leading video streaming service for Chinese content in the US which is pretty ridiculous to say because they only launched now. Every Chinese drama fan knows Viki and how many Chinese dramas they have.
And even if they used to work for Dramafever that is no guarantee that everything they do is absolutely legal. They also have stopped answering questions here since yesterday and didn't give any real explanation for the questions that everyone has.
Hi there, we're a licensed service. Thank you for checking us out!
Making money by embedding Youtube videos that don't belong to you doesn't seem quite right. At least morally. There is no real value. If it's legal or not I don't know. But this is an interesting question. I would also like to know. I suppose as long as you don't intend to make money with it sharing Youtube videos should be legal.

I just found this under their copyright policy: "Hotpot TV respects all copyright and license owners and adheres to the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. If you would like your content removed from this website, follow the instructions below."
Sounds like they probably really didn't ask the Youtube channels if they can embed their videos on their website. Why would they write something like this otherwise. There shouldn't be a need for it if they bought the rights from the Youtube channels.

Indeed. I'm all for new legal streaming sites but this doesn't really seem like one at least for now. Making money by embedding Youtube videos doesn't seem quite the right way. Unless they got the permission from each Youtube channel to embed their videos on their website but it's hard to imagine. Otherwise other legal streaming sites like Viki would also offer Youtube videos if it were easy to get permission. More dramas to offer are always better after all. I'm no specialist on legal issues so maybe I'm wrong but that's what it looks like to me.
It also sounds strange to me that a legal streaming site would launch only after a few months of preparation. I thought building a streaming site would take years like with Bambu now. I'm putting all my hopes on Bambu now. I hope they will have a lot of dramas that aren't available with subs yet.
I was so excited when I read this news and then I went on the website and found Ten Miles of Spring Wind Can't Compare to You which I've been dying to watch. But only two episodes are subbed which has been like this forever on Youtube. The videos on the website are simply those from Youtube. Really disappointed.
The first episode was really bad imo. Too much drama from what we can see in the first minutes, no chemistry,…
Ok I started episode 2 after all but after minute 10 I really can't continue. She has high fever and can faint every moment and they kiss. This is NOT romantic. I really can't believe this is the same scriptwriter from Because of Meeting You.
The first episode was really bad imo. Too much drama from what we can see in the first minutes, no chemistry, uninteresting storyline. I'm really disappointed. This can't compare to Because of Meeting You at all. It's early to judge a drama after only one episode but I don't really have the motivation to continue this drama.
I hope Shin Hye Sun does a drama with Ji Chang Wook or Lee Joon Gi next. That would be so epic!
This website always has the drama filming locations. Very practical.
