Secretary Kim was parodying cliches for half its run lol, and still has its large share of hate. (Although I do…
I never said that I dislike What's Wrong With Secretary Kim though. I watched it and enjoyed it. But I don't think it's the masterpiece that so many people claim it is. The proportion is just not right. And I think the reason for this is the star power. And people are also way too hung up on looks. I don't mean all people of course. But that should be obvious.
I honestly really love all the impressions in this drama. Especially at the first-half episodes, that was really-really…
I don't think the episodes were cut though? I follow all kind of drama blogs and I didn't see any news on that. I think someone just put a wrong number of episodes here in MDL before.
It also doesn't make sense to cut it because the ratings in Korea for this drama were really good. They should have extended it.
I don't get why so many critizise this drama for being cliche and everything but praise What's Wrong With Secretary Kim so much. Clean With Passion For Now is a light watch and the comedy is totally on point! And the acting is so awesome. Both leads are totally on the same level! I'm loving this drama so much! Of course such dramas are not everyone's cup of taste and that's totally okay. But What's Wrong With Secretary Kim is the same genre and nobody is critizising it like this. It's so damn overrated. I find Clean With Passion For Now so much better so far in every aspect, acting, comedy, plot, chemistry. What's Wrong With Secretary Kim isn't anything special. I'm not saying that is was bad. It's a decent rom-com and an enjoyable watch. But it so not deserves all the hype it gets. Let's be honest. It's only so popular because of the star power and the leads' good looks. Those who praise it so much are probably the same shallow people who bash Yoon Gyun Sang for his weight. And I will probably get a lot of flack for what I'm going to say but I'm just so angry that people put so much emphasis on looks. Yoon Gyun Sang is so much more handsome than Park Seo Joon imo! Park Seo Joon only has a fitter body and that's it. His face isn't even that good looking. Don't get me wrong. I still like him as an actor. But since everyone is commenting on looks I wanted to say what I think. But we shouldn't judge actors for their looks anyway but for their acting. Grow up people!
To all the people who complain about the male lead's looks. Gosh. How shallow can you be? So what if he doesn't have the fittest body? This makes him feel even more real because RL people also don't look all like models. And I still find him very handsome and cute. His face is far beyond average. But what's even more important he has charisma and is an awesome actor! I don't give a sh*t about his weight. He managed to completetely mesmerize me with his acting. He's my new crush now. I will check out all his other dramas!
I hope he will not start to only eat salad or whatever and bend to public's opinion. I hope he will stay with a weight that he feels comfortable with. Most stars are way too thin anyway. I prefer someone with looks like him a thousand times over all those skeletons.
I loved this drama so much but the ending was one of the worst I've ever seen. The things that got "resolved" did so in a super illogical way and there are so many unanswered questions left. Really disappointing. I loved the vibe, the emotions it portrayed, the excellent acting, the awesome OSTs. But that ending ruined it all.
Imo yes! But you should always check out the first episodes yourself no matter what people say. Tastes are different. I sometimes also like dramas that people say were really bad.
What's the point of the second season then? I hate it when they change the actors. Just like with Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me and My Amazing Boyfriend. I won't watch if it's not the original cast.
It's so frustrating! "Beauty Hao Lan" will not start on Thursday.Start of broadcast got postponed as announced…
They probably thought that the concurrence right now is too strong. There are too many historical dramas that get a lot of attention. Ever Night, An Oriental Odyssey, The Eternal Love 2 and so on. I expect the new release date will be sometime after Ever Night is over. It's probably a wise choice even if we have to wait longer. They would have lost a lot of viewers. People don't have the time to watch all dramas.
From Cdramabase Twitter: "Youku released a subbed trailer for their upcoming crime drama "The Kidnappers" starring Li Li Ren. It is being promoted as "the next Day and Night"." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msQYj48BHVI
Some people here complain about the bad CGI. It might not have the best CGI and it's definitely not a masterpiece but the story and the characters are really enjoyable. After all I want to be entertained while watching a drama and An Oriental Odyssey fully delivers that. So to me it's a good drama so far!
Same. Last time on my flight I saw a scene very similar to what happened in the last episodes. I don't know what exactly happened because I was in a different line and came later but there was a passenger and a worker from the security check screaming at each other. The worker was super furious and then security came and tried to appease them.
Of course there will also be ordinary days when nothing much happens but those days obviously won't be shown in the drama. That would just be too boring, Just imagine that many ordinary days passed in between the work days we see in the drama and they just don't show them to us,

How cool would it be if Zhou Yi Wei acts in the drama with Zhao Li Ying as cameo! Please let this happen!
