they did it again, i liked the special eps more than the main series again. sigh theyre so cute here T^T (even if the tanuki and kitsune spirit plotline was a weird choice)

to set peoples' expectations, the screenwriters are from love stage and bad guy my boss.

this episode was so horrible for me to watch right now T^T im relating to the lonely vibes )):

stunnninggg episode <3333 i really feel for everyone ):

if u see a jdrama that has clearly ai generated subs, please try to find if an actual fansubber has picked it up already. d-addicts is generally a good resource for larger subbers

so glad christmas isn't that big in thailand so we have a new episode tonight <3

'how likely is it that a lost fish gets to reunite with his shoal' )))):

p'pun (i think emi's manager?) revealed it on twt: https://x.com/punmalone/status/1869370278532485202 edit sorry, this info was talked abt already in the comments below

sorry i meant pluto -> us bc theyre apparently also airing this on the saturday slot T^T but i know call me by no name is also airing on jan 9th if u wanted another

airing two gls in a row??? hallelujah

well it was interesting to see what they were doing with the scenes from the og, but it definitely doesn't stand on its own. it feels like more of a love letter to the original. but.. i actually don't know if i would've preferred it if they reworked the structure and story beats of the original... i just think most of us like the og for the chemistry of the actors not the actual plotline so i always thought a remake was going to flop

mdl usually gets the episode count of japanese dramas wrong, i think bcs we only find out when it ends or when one of the actors/directors says how many episodes it has - rather than a more official post. this was always going to have eight eps from the start

i disagree, he knew what he was doing

well kan put him in that position in the first place, you can't totally remove blame from him. like the female doctor pointed out, he could've shot him in the legs but he wanted him dead

tew and kan believing the text that on was okay after leaving her in the lions den reminded me so much of kinnporsche leaving pete with vegas

was trying to place it this whole time but fuma/asahi's visuals look like genba from boonboonger to me. i feel like i mostly like watching this drama cuz i can point at scenes and be like aha i remember that one. and shoma ofc

shouma wants so badly to find a non-evil granute like him )))))):

i love all these veteran, already popular actors getting into bl <3

aw i can't watch it live anymore then ):

sounds like minase?
