That was so satisfying to watch after the last two episodes. I teared up.
When they paralleled the psychiatrist and Tae Oh searching for Sun Woo, and finally climaxed it with the psychiatrist diving into the ocean, was incredible. That was probably my favorite shot of the entire show, a birds-eye with him diving into the ocean. And then at the end, Tae Oh walking away while psychiatrist comforts Sun Woo. Perfection. Bravo, director.
Second favorite scene was Sun Woo receiving that call from Joon Young. I've hated his character the entire show, but him breaking down and realizing that his mom is one person he can truly count on was heartbreaking. Sun Woo, despite being torn up by Gosan, puts behind everything for her duty as a mother. Wow.
It's horrifying that Joon Young saw what Sun Woo and Tae Oh did. Wow. This still doesn't explain any of Joon Young's actions after they divorced though. Did he develop kleptomania as a result of their divorce? What about scratching the car? Trauma from their messy divorce doesn't excuse any of his actions.
I'm not big on pure business/office dramas (like this or Chief Kim), but the last few episodes were incredibly thrilling to watch. Top tier climax. The friendship between the leads and the assistant managers were cute too :)
Yesterday I was like "fuck him", but I have no idea what to make of the psychiatrist now. I don't think his motive is to become associate director. Crazy theory that he's a psychopath psychiatrist and he's using Ji Sun Woo as a case study. But honestly, can there just be a single character with a happy ending? I was so ready for Min Hyun Seo to go on and live her life outside of that abusive relationship.
Da Kyung scrolling through Tae Oh's phone and seeing pictures of Sun Woo is such a satisfying parallel to the first episode. I don't believe her one bit when she says she trusts him.
F for the psychiatrist though. Why can't there be a single likable character in this show? At this point, Ye Rim seems to be the one morally grounded character.
"My girlfriend's a prison guard" lmao

This, and the time she slept with Je Hyuk were the worst points of the show imo
