If Lee Yeon is coming back to the present time and reunite with his wife is a happy ending at the end of this season. It is fine. Now, Mu Young could stay in 1938, Lee Rang happy with his girlfriend. Fine by me. Perhaps they will show that Lee Rang is alive in 2020 also. That could be a nice resolution to the time travel stuff.
I did not watch the first season but I have a problem with Taluipa in this season. Or more exactly, with the writer…
I also believe that she has not clue because I saw that she told Lee Yeon the moment she found out but that`s not an excuse. Her passivity is to be criticized. No way a responsable person did not investigate properly why two former mountain gods came back to the past and why. This character has a large dose of frustration because of the writer. Do you know the police series that have police officers as heroes or other figures with authority to solve the case but they make mistakes, are stupid most of the time and solve the case towards the end of the series as if they suddenly smart up? LOL It is the same here. But it is alright. I know this drama is not like those serious dark shows. It is a fluffy series. The writer`s plot is also limited by the fact that some situations are fixed because of the first season. She did good averall. I wanted a little attention on some aspects of the plot that we discussed previously.

I agree. Mu Young asked his brother the right question but his answer was not a good explanation. I think Mu Young knows it ( I don`t think he was convinced either) but he doesn`t want the question more. He is blinded and the fact that he doesn`t have a future, a personal goal or a hope in his life, doesn`t help either. Who knows what moster will escape. Taluipa will regret too that she did not discover who was behind the events earlier.

Exactly. Why 1938? I `ve been asking this question from the beginning of the drama. The writer gave us an answer when Mu Young said that the ruler disappeared in that era. But I am not satisfied with this explanation. I admit that I am dissapointed with the explanation (about Mu young`s mission) because the writer could have thought of something simplier and more believeble. By my logic, it would have been more easier to travel back in time to the moment when Ho Young died and not revive a dead man. Maybe it is more to the story involving a very bad spirit or something that is manipulating Mu young but I wish there isn`t this story at all. They thought about making season 3 when they come up with this story, I am sure. I enjoy watching this drama even if it is not my favorite genre but that mission of Mu young was a letdown for me. I would have preferred it to be just a story of the three friends who resolve their misunderstandings and fight together for a common goal. Keep it simple, with cases inspired from folcklore. We`ll see how they will end this story.
So in episode 11 they will going to fight Satori. I read that he is a mind-reading monster. I think Hong Joo is the most vulnerable in front of that power. She always says what is in her mind, she is very impulsive. If Lee yeon and Mu young will help Hong Joo to focus, to control her emotions/thoughts, they can defeat Satori.

Someone is breaking the rules (someone with the same power as her) and her hands are tied? OK. Do nothing. LOL She knew that the guardian stone was stolen and what are the huge consequences. It is bad. She should have protected Lee Yeon or she should have kept the stone to be safe until the gate will be open. That`s the logic fact. LOL But there has to be drama in the drama. I understand the convenient aspect of the plot but I still believe Taluipa should have been more active in this drama.

I just watched episode 10 and I saw the preview with subtitles. She said that she is powerless that she cannot intervene in human world but she does sometimes. I said that she is telling Lee yeon about what Mu Young wants to do but almost too late. In her defence, after watching ep 10, she doesn`t know why Mu young is in 1938 and she will find out after she met again with the King of the Five Paths. And then she will tell Lee yeon. But it is still too late. It is a fail on her part (I know that the writer wanted that to prelong the mystery and made it this way) but she should have know sooner. Her poor excuse is that she doesn`t intervene in human world but this is not the case. The moment Mu young and Lee Yeon came to the past, she should have investigate, because they are not humans. They are from her world. She knew that someone powerful (someone from her league) has freed Mu young and she should have asked non stop why. For someone pretending that she cared for 'the three mountain gods' like her surogate children (her husband said that she cried so much after rightfully punishing Mu young), she did absolutely nothing when two of them, who never should have been in 1938, came to the past for whatever reason. She did nothing when native gods began to disappear mysteriously. What is her job/duty anyway?

It looks like it is not revealed that Taluipa freed Mu young. I don`t know why I believe she was the one who did it. We`ll see what is about. We have two more episodes and we still don`t know the important aspect of who orchestrated all these events and why. But regardless, Taluipa knows more informations but she is not revealing them when she has to. I saw the preview for ep 11 (without subtitles) but why I have a feeling she is telling Lee Yeon an important informations about Mu Young too late?
Mu Young is the same guy who was turned into stone by Taluipa. She has freed him but we still not know exactly…
If Taluipa sent everything in motion (she sent Lee Yeon for fighting along with the other mountain gods to defeat Kato and told him a fake excuse mission) is better than the alternative but, in my opinion, everything should have been revealed earlier. Knowing some facts heps the story.
Can someone please explain to me how Moo Young was revived? And how does he possess information from what happened…
Mu Young is the same guy who was turned into stone by Taluipa. She has freed him but we still not know exactly why. Mu young knows what happened with Lee Yeon and Lee Rang in 2020 because he was alive in those times .
Why Kato needs the marriage with Eun Ho? He has a good position in the family without this contrived marriage plot. Why they did not give us more confruntation with Kato? All those failed experiment are even relevant to the story? We hear about them but they don`t use it very well in the story. And Mu young failed to use yaksa properly. He thought that Lee Yeon will be busy saving the people of the hotel while he will get the stone? He just made a big mess for the humans at the hotel for nothing.
One thing I hated about Talupia was how she never cared to caution them about pending danger. In s1 she was also…
I did not watch the first season but I have a problem with Taluipa in this season. Or more exactly, with the writer `s decision to use her to create the tension/ the plot. We know that Taluipa was the one who has freed Mu Young in 2020. It wasn`t that hard to guess because there aren`t many deities who could do it. But why she did it? We don`t know even now, when we have just two-three episodes left. Taluipa from 1938 seemed very proud of herself that the future self sent Lee Yeon in 1938 to fight the Japanese monsters but I don`t understand the urgency or the reason behind that huge decission. I already knew that all three mountain gods will reunite to fight Kato and I wanted to see that but I still don`t understand why Taluipa sent everything in motion. That`s writer`s fault.
I thought that Mu young came to 1938 to changed something important like saving the life of Hong Joo, for example. And Taluipa, as someopne who raised the mountain gods, would have regretted not helping her or helping the native gods who were murdered by Kato. She wanted the three old friends to resolve their problems. Fine, It would have made more sense. Instead, we have Mu Young wanted the stone and other artefact to revive his brother. Facepalm. Mu Young did not know who has eliberated him or why. One thing is to not reveal the information (for the audience) to early and another for the character to really not know. LOL. She freed Mu Young because she wanted to forgive him and he stole the stone and travel back to 1938? And she sent Lee Yeon after him and hoped for the better? LOL Unprofessional on so many levels. I hope it is not the case but I am not optimistic. Why so proud Taluipa? At least her husband helped the Independence movement. She waited 82 years to sent Lee Yeon (when Korea was doing fine) to fight with the other Japanese monsters? Why? Did she really want to corect a mistake, a bad fate for someone or it was just a coincidence when she really wanted Lee yeon to corect her own mistake from 2020?
I don`t like the story of ressurection of Mu young`s brother. I would have preferred that he had traveled in time to the moment Lee Yeon killed Ho Young, to know more about what happened with his brother that he turned bad. It was most logical in my opinion, especially if you have the stone who can do the time travel. But to revive a dead ?! It is too much for my liking. Plus, I feel it is not enough time to explore the whole story. It is more likely they want to connect it with the thrid season. I wish they would have kept the storyline simplier.
I wonder who is the leader of Shinigami Mercenary Group. Why he did not arrived with the others? Maybe he will appear later after we will know him in another situation.
Just a thought: Do you think perhaps Moo Young's Brother tried to kill Moo Young because he couldn't become a…
That`s more like it. It will be a good explanation because Mu young was shocked when his brother tried to kill him. He said that something is not right.
This character has a large dose of frustration because of the writer.
