That`s what I think also. Lee Yeon (2020) promised Lee Rang that he will be close to him. I think that`s what he had in mind when he had promised.

Even the King of Five Paths wanted to help Mu Young and kind of wanted to intervene in the war with his action. Taluipa said that it is her duty to protect the era. Only empty words. How did she protect the era? When native gods had a real problem she did nothing. She asked Lee Yeon and Hong Joo to hear their grievances. When Lee Yeon and Mu Young from the past came in her time, she did nothing. When she heard Mu Young was looking for the golden ruler, she did nothing, not even asked questions. She is useless. She better save Mu young.

The original sanshin said that because of him Mu young`s brother went crazy. Yes, it could be that he was posessed by him or he controlled him.

Yes, I was about to answer the same. Moon Bear had been training in the same time, he started later than the others but they were not best friends. That doens`t mean they did not get along. Mu Young wanted to know about him and he did not know if he would have become a mountain god. Moon Bear was not very comunicative but he is a good man. Perhaps Lee Yeon and Moon Bear became friends later.

I thought at first that she was dead in 2020 and Mu Young came to 1938 to save her life. It is not the case as we found out why Mu Young came to the past. Who knows where is Hong Joo in 2020? Now she has her gisaeng family but except for Jae Yoo who is a jingo dog, everyone else are humans. In 2020 she doesn`t have anyone, no family, no friends (Mu young and Lee yeon), perhaps she lost her purpuse in life.
Mu young and Lee Yeon traveling back in time brought the positive too. Lee Yeon and Lee rang resolved their misunderstandings, Hong Joo saw a spark in her boring life. I think Mu Young will stay in the past and Lee Yeon from 1938 will overcome his adiction and can be in the lives of both Lee Rang and Hong Joo. If Mu Young and Lee Yeon won`t be absent anymore, Hong Joo`s dream will became true (to have both friends in her life).
I am looking forward to see how is the ending. Because of original Sanshin on the loose, season 3 will be about catching him, I guess.

We will wait to see her doing something useful for the mountain gods, for the first time. She better will save Mu young.

He is the only mountain god who appeared in S1. Moon bear ( played by Lee kyu hyung) is the fourth mountain god. It was mentioned this season by Mu young.

I think he is very strong. He had the four powers of the future mountain gods combined but not now. He needs the four gems to regain his initial power. So, I think he could be defeated when all four mountain gods will reunite to stop him. Or he will be stopped before he get all four artefacts/gems who are in different words to not be easily found.

I think Lee Yeon from 2020 will come back to his time and reunite with his wife and Lee Yeon from 1938 will appear and stay with Lee Rang. Perhaps Lee Yeon (1938) talked with his future self and that`s the time when he will fight his addiction and be with his brother too.

I just watched episode 11. Finally, the pieces of the puzzle fits. I already suspected that Mu Young won`t revive his brother. I thought it was an evil spirit who manipulated Mu young to do the work for him. I like that this writer chose this scenario and not reviving Ho young plot who was not credible for me. I actually hated the initial explanation. And how the evil spirit aka former original mountain god could manipulated Mu Young in 2020? I don`t want to know right now.

I like how Lee Rang and Lee Yeon had a playing moment between brothers. How Shin Joo, Mi Yeon and Jae Yoo were together. They are perfect trio.

Mu Young realized that even without his real family, he was not alone. He had his old friends. His farwell to Hong Joo was emotional. I don`t think he will die. I saw him together with Lee yeon and Mu Young, fighting in the final battle. But Mu young.... how could you be so naive!
Taluipa`s pasiviness is frustrating and hard to understand. I really like when frustrated and sad Lee Yeon said to her some true words. It was satisfying to see.

I like the writer`s idea to bring a new villain and connect him to the four mountain gods. If there will be the third season, I think all four mountain gods will appear. If the next season will be in Joseon, I don`t know how they will bring Lee Rang into the mix, through. Perhaps it will be in the future and we`ll find out that Lee Rang is alive.

Lee Rang, Hong Joo, Lee Yeon, Mu Young and Eun Ho will fight in the final battle. They will fight Kato and his henchmen for Korea and for their close people. It is the perfect ending that already everyone expected.

No, he did not die. We saw him in the preview, fighting with Lee Yeon and Hong Joo. Maybe Taluipa helped him after all.
