No. Watching S2, you`ll know/remember the important things from S1.

She could have all the power but not the physically one, is that what you say? Hong Joo is not a human woman, she is a mountain god and it is equal to the other deities. Why do you see her powers as exagerated just because she is a female and you did not see the same thing in the others? Even Lee Rang who was not a mountain god could changed his shape in a baby and has very good abilites and he was strong. They all have different powers and have strenghts and weaknesses. Hong Joo can`t get drunk and is strong physically. That`s it. But she is not unbeatable. For exemple Taluipa is a female but she is stronger than all the other mountain gods or other deities or monsters. In the fantasy word it is possible for a female to be as strong as the men or even stronger. It works because it is a fantasy and not the ordinary world.
For me, that was one of the interesting aspects, to see three equally strong mountain gods fighting each other, having some issues but not really wanted to hurt each other.

The ratings were OK and they had a positive reaction from the public but it is not enough. The production is expensive. They worked 8-9 months to film a 12 episodes drama (the weekenders of 50 episodes are filmed in 8 months) and another 5-6 months for the post production.
I will not be waiting. If they will make it, I will be pleased. if not, it is OK with me.

We don`t know if there will be the third season. I have a feeling they will produce it. I am OK if Kim So Yeon won`t be it it. I am satisfied with what I got. Ryu Hong Joo is one of my favorite characters of So yeon. I like how the writer gave her strengths and weaknesses, and how she ended up emotionally.
If the writer want to go further back in time, when they were all mountain gods, it is possible for So yeon to be in the 3rd season, but I don`t know if I really want another season. I should trust the writer. If there is S3, I will watch.

You were a fan of the first season but you don`t watch the second season because of Kim so yeon`s outfits and make up in this drama. OK. What is really going on? But, on the other hand, I heard people saying they won`t watch a drama because of a certain haircut of an actor. We all have our reasons or justifications. I say it was a good season. I don`t watch this kind of genre but I`ve enjoyed it.

Not early than 2025. Lee Dong Wook has another drama to film that hasn`t started yet. If 12 episodes of season 2 were filmed in almost a year (8-9 months) and they had another 5-6 months to post production, we could see that we won`t have the third season too soon. But let see if they`ll announce it first.

Yes, there is a happy ending for everyone, including Lee Rang and his lover.

Taluipa said to Lee Yeon that the future won`t be changed but nobody believes her. It doesn`t make sense unless it has created another universe. We don`t know what changes were made because we did not have information.

I loved Ryu Hong Joo in Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938. I thank the writer for giving Kim So yeon a good written character. I am looking forward to see her on another project.

I mean, the writer wanted to make a role for most of the main leads of season 1. She made Shin Joo follow Lee Yeon in 1938 (while there is Shin Joo in 1938, he was also absent just like Lee Yeon 1938) and he come up with a new character for Yong Ji. A `doppelganger' is a person biologically unrelated with another person, a look-alike.

No, she is human. The writer wanted Yong Jin in this season and she created a doppelganger. From what I know, Lee Rang will meet Yu Ri later.

Shin Joo did not met his wife in 1938. Eun Ho is a different character, a human look alike girl.

They did not show or mention anything. Lee Yeon came back in 2023 and met his wife in the rain. That`s it.

They announced the intention of making a 3rd season when they announced the 2nd season. They even teased about at the end of the episode. But it is not confirmed yet. Depends on many factors. The buget is one of them. I think they wrote the second season with the 3rd season in mind but to actually produce it, it is another thing. We have to wait. I hope not another 2-3 years.

I love Hong Joo. I like how the writer ended her story. One of my favorite scene from the finale was the scene when Lee Yeon gave Hong Joo a gift and a letter as saying goodbye. He is a kind man and a good friend. He stayed true to his romantic feelings but he acknowledged/empathized the feelings of others and even apologized. A true friend. I thank the writer for thinking of Hong Joo`s feelings. And Hong joo`s dream became true. She has Mu young and Lee Yeon by her side and they are fighting together for their country. Perfect ending in my opinion.
