They don't have a big enough inter fandom to influence numbers like that yet. And because they are newer, they also don't have antis to mass downvote their contents.

The novel is a very good read. Its filled with sweetness and more sweetness. But simply adapting only the novel without adding extra scenes may come across as boring as a series. So I like the changes they're doing. But I hope they won't stray too far from the core of the novel.
I highly recommend reading the novel. As a reader, it left me completely satisfied. One of the better novels in Thai bl world.
The series is different, the entire first episode was different.
Its different in the sense that the novel begins with Duang narrating how he asked Qin out at the Loy Krathong fair. And then it skips to 6 months after that. So you don't really see all the planning and scheming Duang and his friends will be doing to woo Qin.
It makes sense why they changed that for the series. I like this version better. And the trailer has pretty much all the important parts in the novel, so I'm pretty sure it won't be very different going forward.
Yes. Qin knew Duang but Duang didn't know him. Iirc, they attended tutoring classes in the same area and Qin noticed Duang because he would always walk his female friends to the BTS after late classes even though Duang used to take the bus home. Qin didn't like Duang at that point though.
