I personally loved hunger, but generally I agree with you that the crew is very promising. Trailer looks pretty…
Yea. The crew is so great here that it would be such a waste for either the story and/or execution to flop. The trailer actually reminds of "Love & Death" sans the "Delete" power. Wonder if the story may have inspired this one.

I haven't watched their horror stuff, since I'm generally not a fan of the genre.

One more day to go. ^^

A creative and imaginative story between how people treat their possessions and relationships.

FL: Does this mean I have a heart now?

Lol exactly how I felt watching this. Honestly expected to be bored and dropping this, but my first impressions are often wrong. So of course, I ignored myself and tried this out.

So glad I did. The storytelling is really well done. I love most of the storyline, pacing and just the right amount of humor sprinkled throughout. The best thing here is they do an amazing job of getting the viewers to feel what the MC is feeling. Characters were all great. The cast did an amazing job.

However, the story started losing some of its charm for me when she met her ex. I don’t like love triangles at all. I also wish the ending was different. Not that I dislike these kinds of endings as they can work well depending on the story. For this one, I would have preferred the opposite outcome.

Ep5 onwards, it's picking up really well. Wasn't too into this until ep4 - Pleng's ep.

White, my potty mouth queen, I love you.

The school actually seems alright, but what did or are they doing to our guy, Run?

as much as i love baifern, i would possibly not watch this for the reason of almost identical to lhong fai but…
Yea. With Lhong Fai, they really were like "how messed up do you want this to be"? After all these years, I still can't finish watching it. Even just watching the highlights to see what happened was haunting/traumatizing enough for me.

Baifern's performance really was exceptional though. I'd like to see her in something like Byakuyako. She would bang out the FL role so good.

The FL in the previous remake of Thong Prakai, while she strived for a better life for herself, she was also a genuine person. All the guys weren't assholes either. They're totally doing a 180 here just to recreate the success of Lhong Fai. Can't blame them really. Every time there's a rerun, it gets millions of views.

Also, that teaser pretty much spoiled the ENTIRE story. Like what the heck lol. If it wasn't for the cast, I probably wouldn't even be conflicted about giving this a try.

Pleng totally had me fooled. I'm impressed lol. Love did an amazing job that episode.

This drama is missing a calculating and chill character like Chishiya from Alice In Borderlands who would be nonchalant while watching everything play out. Guy'd probably sit back, chuckle and go "well played". Slow clap. Everyone is just so emotional and reactive.

We got a lot of backstories all at once. I feel it would be better if they revealed one character's backstory per episode.

OMG the cast. Trailer looks so good, but I'm cautious lol. I was really hyped for Hunger with Aokbab and Peter, but it ended up being underwhelming along with Faces of Anne. Both had everything to be great movies but weren't executed well.

I hope this one is different and delivers, since the director and screenwriters worked on Bad Genius and HateTag. Both great series that are better than I expected.

I'm curious about everyone's backstory, what happened to the students before this class, and the actual purpose of the school.

It's ok so far. Execution could be better, but we're still early. So maybe they'll gradually dial up the suspense as the story progresses. I would have really liked to see the director of PS I Hate You work on this one. Lady does really well with executing thrillers/mysteries like this one.

We're only two eps in and maybe it's coming up, but I'd like to see flashbacks of each character's backstory.

I’m dropping this after ep6 and will skim the rest for any additional GL parts. Not that this is a bad drama. It’s just not my type of drama.

This is mostly about a single working mom who is a lawyer and how she navigates raising a young daughter, her love life and career. I feel like the law cases are merely backdrops.

If you’re looking for a law series with mystery, the cases and characters involved aren’t very well developed. There is also no mystery. Everything is spelled out as to who did what. You’ll basically be waiting for them to develop a strong enough case to bring the perpetrators to justice.

If you’re looking for a romance esp between lawyers, their romance is really cute and wholesome. There is bickering, but it’s the cute, silly and endearing kind. There is no kissing or hugging thus far, if that is something that’s necessary for you. This is a ThaiPBS drama, and they don’t really do that in any of their dramas that I’ve watched so far. Mind you. You’ll be lucky to see hand holding.

I’m surprised it happened with the GL couple though. So it’s ok for the F/F couples to be touchy feely, but not the M/F couples? My reflex reaction about that imbalance is to take it negatively, but I’m trying to keep an open mind about it for now. If you watch a couple of ThaiPBS dramas and you’re sapphic, you might understand why I feel the imbalance is a little disconcerting. In addition, the sapphic characters have gotten very little screentime IF they’re endgame but get significantly more screentime, if they’re not. ThaiPBS dramas’ main focus is to shine light on social issues, and I want to believe they have a good reason for the GL pattern. Like maybe they are slowly easing viewers into women being in a relationship together?

If you’re looking for GL, be warned that they have very little screen time. It’s unfortunate because the premise for their story arc would make for a great GL series imho. The daughter of a powerful and corrupt family, and the news reporter who exposes them. Have we ever had this in a GL, written or on screen? Not that I can recall. See. The premise would make for an amazing GL series. Maybe one day.

This is an okay watch. Storyline and characters are interesting, likeable and wholesome. Execution could definitely be better. I finished The Interns before this and concurrently watching another ThaiPBS series, so I know better execution is possible in terms of storytelling and supporting characters.

Well, I'm dropping this after 30m in. Lady really being petty over a guy. Not just any guy either -- a two-timer…
In that 4 years, she couldn't just tell the girl the man was married. The girl didn't even know, and I'm sure she would have backed off if she did.

Well, I'm dropping this after 30m in. Lady really being petty over a guy. Not just any guy either -- a two-timer who preyed on a vulnerable young girl who lost her parents. Instead of showing her cheating husband the door, she blames it on the girl.

Such an overdone trope that even the power of Taew and Aff can't get me to continue watching.

Possible because he did get someone to buy Prim's painting.
