My poor Sky. What happened to him was awful. He needs to talk to someone and Prapai seems like the person for it. Or whoever because his trauma is gonna eat him up inside if he doesn't talk about it. I' m glad Rain was a good friend for once. Sky's story has problems but somehow I kinda like it more than Rain's. I think that's because I like both Sky and Prapai more than Rain and Payu as characters.
I have found that on MDL no matter how good, fluffy, or realistically portrayed a series is the rating will always…
true I feel like over the years MDL has gotten worse when it comes to nitpicking everything. Some series may be good but if one of the actors isn't up to par = low rating. TBF some series do deserve the ratings they have on here either in the really bad quality= Check Out or in the good quality= Not Me. While others are treated rather unfairly.
In contrast to the two other stories Peek's seems to be the lightest so far. It's still dark but not like Bew's which I thought was the darkest and ugliest. We'll see if it gets darker as the story keeps going. So this one is based on real life competitions and what the contestants go thru with fans and to win said competitions. I hate how Toon and Pla are still able to have more victims after what they did to Bew and Gus.
Also 7.5???? really I think this series is rated so low because it's not this cute light BL like all other series that are airing right now. No, this one is freaking dark and I don't really think I would call WOY a BL series while yes the stories do have romance(if we can call it that, it's not the traditional one) War of Y is more of a dark and ugly look into the Y industry and I guess some don't like that. Hence why it's rated so low. I've seen worse series than this and I really believe it doesn't deserve this rating. But since it's not the traditional series people gave it this rating.
So yeah, I don't know how I feel about ep 1. It wasn't what I expected. I expected it to capture me and it just didn't. Don't get me wrong the production value is high and the acting is ok. But I didn't feel much chemistry between the leads and thought episode 1 was slow. Hopefully episode 2 is much better than ep 1. I do like hate to love stories and I want to see how they fall in love with each other since rn they hate each other's guts. That should be interesting. Anyway, I'll give it a couple more episodes to judge it better.
As sad as it is I think that Cake leaving was actually the best thing to happen to Eiw, because he learned to relay on himself. He was too attached to Cake that he forgot to be his own person. I'm also glad that he has Fee in his life because he helped Eiw get better and find himself. We all need friends like Fee and Kung. I liked Cake and Eiw's bond but now that they are probably not as reliant on each other that will make their relationship stronger and healthier. Next week should be interesting. Cake will definitely be jealous of Tal.
I really enjoy this series. It's so fluffy but I think my favorite thing is that for 14-15 year olds both Takara and Amagi are way mature for their age. They handle their problems way better than many other main characters in BL's I've seen and they are just teens! I'm probably giving this series a 9/10 when it ends next week.
Think I'm done trying to find the plot on this show. I'm just gonna love it for the couples which are the heart of this series. 3 episodes left and I don't think we're gonna get much plot wise so I'm just gonna continue loving Akk and Aye's + Kan and Thua's love stories.
We're finally in Sky's story and I'm happy. I think I like Sky and Prapai way more as a characters than Rain and Phayu. Phayu was ok tho a bit dull. I found Rain extremely annoying although he did have his moments where I found him interesting and ok. Sky oth is this sassy, fiesty and doesn't play around. He's also experienced . His NC with Prapai was hot although I'm not sure if they have as much chemistry as Boss and Noeul did but we'll see. I loved him from day one. . Prapai - well he's charming and bold and goes after what he wants without games unlike Phayu. I love the contrast between all 4 characters they are all so different but similar in a way. Can't ait to see where Sky and Prapai's story goes.
Got to say the ending had me crying my eyes out. The acting damn! both Lee Hyun Jun and Moon Yi Yong were so good, really excellent actors. They know how to deliver the emotion and the heartbreak too. As for the ending, I wish it could have been better but honestly in the condept of time travel the norm is you can't change the past as much as you want to. The least you can do is learn from it and live your life as best you can even if the circumstances that brought you here are tragic. I like that the writers kept that realistic. At least there was hope there in the end, again realistic to time travel because it usually ends in a time loop, that's what happened here. However, as heartbreaking as it was I liked KJH's sacrifice for SJW. He really cared about him and wanted SJW to live his life the best he could and in the end SJW did.
Next year probably. I had a feeling it might air at the end of they year but with the cast change etc. I doubt…
yeah 4: My School President( looks like this one is following The Eclipse), Never Let Me Go, Midnight Chicken and Be My Favorite. There's not gonna be a lot of room for new stuff next year since GMMTV still has a lot left to air from their 2022 roster.
Next year probably. I had a feeling it might air at the end of they year but with the cast change etc. I doubt it. IMO it's better that way because 2 Jittirain series in the same year was strange to me LOL they usually just put one a year.
I saw the Gavin/Krist picture and I see zero chemistry between them. I'm happy that Gavin gets to be the lead here but I have a feeling Krist/Gavin are gonna bomb as a couple esp since Krist seems to be stiff in BL. He seemed more comfortable with Mike. I'm gonna give this a try because I usually love Jittirain series but i'm iffy on Krist even if I sorta like Gavin.
I think Never Let Me Go will air after Bad Buddy's rerun ends. It looks like My School President will follow The Eclipse and Midnight Chicken & Krist/Gavin drama will probably air next year. Apparently, this was said on the Arm Share show.
Finally saw the episode and man did it make me angry. Putting it in spoilers
Like wtf? Yes Bew is an awful human being and what he did was horrible BUT...... why did the writers make Pla and Toon the saints in all this like they did nothing wrong???? HUH? If anything Bew became the monster he was because of Toon then Pla and even because of Gus. This industry is ugly and if Bew hadn't had those toxic people around him then he wouldn't have become an @ss. It's just ridiculous that Pla and Toon get off scott free to hurt more people after all they did. I don't care if Bew is the scum of the earth, they should have paid with heavy consequences. But I guess like with Koon, they are free to cause more pain. I really can't blame Bew for wanting revenge and to be free of Toon. Well at least he got to be free at the end. Good I guess? Hopefully he can be happy and find the inner peace he desperately needs. At least Gus and Bew didn't end up together but I hated that" Maybe in the future" shat that was implied at the end. Just no! They were too toxic and both deserve better. Yet they still "love" each other? Ok then. I guess the lesson in Bew's story is: "Even if people hurt you, don't become a monster yourself." Still I found his end unfair tbh. Hopefully he heals with time. And like I said at least he's free.
