they did change the basis of the plot since in the webtoon it starts off with hyeon being the king and yeonwol actually wants to assassinate him for her parents death and in the webtoon she likes akhee first but in the drama it seems that she likes hyeon first. in the webtoon the brother isn’t a villain either like he is in the drama.
