the flying thing is probably to show how akhee has more physical strength compared to hyeon as they emphasise that a few times and there is other fantasy aspects such as there being a shaman and they portray akhee as an evil spirit rather than an alter ego compared to the webtoon

the memory loss actually plays a big part in the plot, without it most things wouldn’t even be able to happen and she assumed they’re the same person cos they have the same face and she met hyeon before so thats why she assumed akhee and hyeon are the same
