plus in games like jump rope even tho the distance from the floor wasn’t actually that high behind the scenes it’s not safe to jump with a baby

well that’s probably a different situation since in squid game the baby was in many scenes it’s not realistic to have a real baby present on that kind of schedule and that’s just gonna set back the actors work too so obviously the best solution was using cgi and that’s not a bad thing idk why people think it is

there’s a clear difference between using child actors and a newborn baby. it’s not ethical to put a real life baby in those scenes even if it’s acting as it’s a high risk environment and due to the long hours filming it’s gonna be complicated having a baby on set cos they need a lot of rest and loud noises are gonna be distressing for them

well his backstory was quite sad in the webtoon so that’s probably why they wanted to portray him that way, he’s not a complete villain imo and he has quite a few similarities with sieun in the webtoon

i saw so many comments before saying minyeong doesn’t suit weak hero but i feel he actually did such a great job embodying juntae as a character with the same mannerisms and expressions and i loved his relationship dynamics with sieun

that is an important part of the webtoon and story in general as many of the characters bully him because of his appearance and underestimate his fighting abilities at first but he’s obviously stronger then he looks and the way he’s portrayed also explains his fighting style and how it mostly relies on his intelligence and strategic thinking

its sad how suho fans are not even giving the new characters a chance when they are the original characters in the webtoon like at some point people need to move on from s1

netflix has a bigger outreach than most other platforms tho so there’s a better chance of the show becoming more popular especially among a global audience and not only with kdrama fans so in the end its beneficial for both the director and actors

because s1 was just sieun’s backstory, s2 is where the actual story begins
