that's what I'm thinking too hei long wasn't there in that fight scene so it might not be the actual last fight rather between ep 35-36 after bai cai was possessed and cured by someone

dunno if y'all observed the intro of the episodes well but on a seen what looked like the final one with the immortals on the one side and the anti immortals another bai cai was indeed wearing black/purple but she was standing with the anti immortals most importantly with wu geng. puts me at ease tho
