I am personally really loving this show, but I also really loved the manga so I'm not sure if I would be enjoying it as much without the backstory. I feel like a lot of little things are getting left out. Like with Kaji's brother, there was a whole conversation about the Oppa getting the house in the will and they met with a lawyer to do title paperwork... but in the show the Oppa comes and visits and leaves and it's unclear what else happened, except all the sudden Kaji has to move. The best way to do an adaption should be that the viewer doesn't have to'of read the original story for the show to make sense. Hopefully things get clearer as the story unfolds!
I would like to know whether they are sleeping together or not. Not because I need to see nc scenes, but because…

In the manga, at this point, they have only slept together 3 times so far (actually the show's version has a little different order so maybe 4 times?) Later, in the manga version of the story, there is significantly more bangin' after they move in together. Not sure if that will come over though because, if i remember right..... in the show, did they sleep together after they went to Azuma's mother's? I feel like they either didn't or barely did, or barely showed it.... I can't remember but in the manga I think they like do it several times after that visit because one of the times was in the car and it was a situation because they're "old" and not very flexible anymore lol. So I don't know how much of the NC stuff from the manga is going to make it into the show.
Also, if it helps at all, their relationship is specifically called like, "undefined/unnamed/unlabeled" several times so I think that the ambiguity of what they are to each other is part of the story at this point.

In the novel, yes, Liuyi loved Qinglong romantically, platonically, every way and it's a major character motivation and internal conflict for Liuyi in the first half of the story.
Can someone who read the novel tell me if the main characters are gay or bi? I love watching dramas or movies…
