This one is beyond boring looking back, I can't even bring myself to finish the last 3 eps. Just a discombobulated…
I don't understand this comment. The main focus of the drama is healing and recovering from "wounds" that formed the despair in each person's life, with the main focus being on miji. There were many relationships that were strained but eventually healed. As for the main couple imo there was a lot of chemistry (although if you are talking straight romance, then its not a crazy amount, but I liked the build of their relationship) and tbh the last 3 episodes are when they expressed each other the most. I do wish there was more to mi-rae and sejin but I also like their relationship as it demonstrates that what they have is special but not necessarily romantic. They are just always there for each other.
I have watched up to episode 15.During the assassination attempt on the male lead, Shen Zai Ye, the female lead,…
I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was Shen Zai Ye himself who ordered the assassin because he knew that they were trying to kill him and wanted to lure them out or at least scare them. That is why when the arrow was coming towards him he just stared at it instead of attempting to dodge it. And ofc, Jiang Tao Hua knew of the attempt but didn't know it was She Zai Ye who ordered it and therefore got shot by the arrow in his stead as she needed a big ACE to gain Shen Zai Ye's trust.
As for Meng Zhen Zhen and the other wives, I feel they all got closure in the divorce since they had no say in the marriage to begin with being that they are noblewomen as one of the concubines said. Of course there are still 20 episodes, so something may spark some type of vengeance or resentment in Meng Zhen Zhen, but I don't think it will be of her own volition.
