i think that only similar thing is that the female lead's appearance changes when taking this product. the difference is that instead of drinking coffee to change her appearance and make her /beautiful/, she sprays perfume. then, after time, it runs out and the main character goes back to her regular appearance. i'm just...not digging it. other than that though, based on the description, the dramas sound quite different. i had only gotten coffee, do me a favor vibes because i had only watched the trailer and not read what the drama is actually about.

although there is no chemistry between oh sunny and lee hyuk, it doesn't matter. it's been planned since the beginning and now its getting better. the cliffhangers in every episode make the drama even more tense and it sucks having to wait until the next week, but i gotta admit, this gets better each episode. i'm not the biggest fan of oh sunny as a character, but i think she's becoming stronger every episode actually, the way she handles the lies and the truths, secrets after secrets. although i'm not a fan of historical dramas, it seems this might just change my opinion about them.
i've been watching this since ep 14 was out, and i panicked when i realized it wasn't done because i keep wanting more and more. i was surprised to see the ratings at that time, being 7.5, but now its got up to 8.0, and i hope it continues to go up. the episode ratings keep rising as well and it's getting me even more pumped!!
overall, i hope this doesn't end badly on it's last episodes. the first episodes were boring for me because oh sunny was annoying, but of course there was a reason, so i'm hoping the last episodes will leave me surprised in any way. although it looks predictable (whereas oh sunny will probably end up with woo bin and lee hyuk, yu ra and empress dowager kang will probably die or suffer), i wouldn't mind it.
