I am satisfied with the new episodes, although I personally feel like the flute scene from the novel would look more impressive on camera. Also I wonder if they continue to hint at first prince maybe feeling smth to MZH, to the point when it clearly made LD dissatisfied . I do not want LD to turn into the "overbearing CEO". 🙈😄

And he is a sweetest guy with a sweetest smile in real life. I really hope for more good roles for him.

Xu Haiqiao is one of my favorite actors. The way he goes from big puppy eyes to full devil mood is amazing. And with an innocent smile. Although the "prince knot" styling is not flattering his facial bone structure, he still manages to look good.

She wants revenge for her mother and power for herself. In the end she wants the throne.

Just want to add smth re age critic that was discussed earlier- in real life our princess and her scholar are both pactically of the same age, and they look gorgeous & very convincing together. I follow Xu Hai Qiao for a long time already, and he had a very beautiful pairing with Song Zuer - they also looked great together despite 15 years age gap in real life. So what I mean is that it's not about age gap, it's about the quality of the production in general and actor's ability to deliver.

In my country we have a well-known guy who has been married 8 times, not at once, hehe, but still. The wifes get younger and younger). When asked why he said- I'm an honest man. If I love a woman I should marry).

I totally agree. What I absolutely love is that in this drama FL is noticing ML's handsomeness and attractiveness (those inner thoughts she has ). It's soo sweet and rare to see in dramas.

Hi everyone. Glad to find the thread. I initially had no plans to watch, however I was hoocked and now am impatiently waiting for new episodes. I find the plot captivating and intriguing. Also I personally find age gaps totally ok. This makes the story more serious and believable than any possible idol drama of this kind. FSF does amazing job as LY, and JT as a bubbly chatterbox MZH. I like that the characters are opening to each other, slowly discovering all the inner struggles of other party.
