Oh I see! Sorry, I quickly read over. Yeah, that one I do not know. My assumption is that when people write "I wish better for SML" then do not mean "I wish worse for ML", but who knows. I agree that he is shady and that he is not doing the right things. I guess maybe because he is not inherently bad we as viewers want to see him getting on the right side.

Me? I do not support him. I am only curious about his character development and if writers will take a more or less interesting path from the perspective of this development.

He confessed bc he was on edge of loosing her for good and also he coudn't contain his love anymore. You are right that he could communicate better, or at least tell her that there are reasons. But I understand that this is a very hard topic for him, like a life mission.

You see, I totally get what you are saying. I can also make the point in the other direction. "SML just wants his company to do well, and he tries the best he can even if he plays dirty. There is no meaning in rooting for ML as he will win either way (bc he's ML), so one can support SML hoping for his redemption." That redemption might never come and SML might do even worse that he did so far, but at this moment we don't know it yet.

The beauty of the drama is that those characters are complex, not inherently good or bad. Ofc, I prefer ML over SML, but ML has his own issues, he's not perfect as well. For example, he turned down FL without a single explanation or reason for it, just to act jelaous after. But we accept and understand as we know his reasons and love for her. It doesn't make it right towards her though in that specific moment.

I don't defend SML. I am just trying to say that he is not one dimensional character and ppl can feel emotions towards his past while rooting for ML at the same time.

She's a very well written character! I would love to learn to be that well spoken and true to yourself in the real life all the time. Probably easier said than done :)

I think people can feel sad for ML past and for SML life at the same time. Probably those are different feelings and level of sadness, but they can exist at the same time.

He doesn't need to prove himself to SML. He behaves above him bc he needs to for his sanity and treats him in the camp with his dad unless proven otherwise. Also, he trusts FL enough to know that SML has no chances.

He's not a good guy, but not a villain either. In present days ML comes off as successful and strong and on his way to "victory", SML is kind of on his way to "defeat", so I can understand people having feelings about it. The same way as people feel sad for ML past and the path he walked.

Yeah, I didn't get it. I though that no bc of conversation with FL and him having doubts, but then looking at the preview and some other scenes I think he just gave the green light after that talk with dad.

I am tired of ppl attacking personalities of each other because of opinions/perceptions of the drama... Like opinions change, no reason to attack other people. Makes me sad reading the comment section recently.

I think he's extremelly exhausted to even understand what is hapenning.

That is a good point! I think he liked her at their first meeting in the elevator, but he indeed is caught up in this own feelings. But I do also think that his respect for her grows professionally with more interactions.

Also, ML indeed undermined FL work by his request at the meeting. We know why he is asking this and most likely he secretly is planning to expose the company and then rely on his own suppliers, but still this was condesending. I love that he acknowledged that and tried to explain to her duing the field talk.
