Cute, light and fluffy

If you want to watch a series that is cute, light and fluffy, then this could be it for you! I know that it's not the best, but it's not the worse BL series out there- it has it's moments.

Story- 7/10
For a ten episodes series with a length of 10-15 airtime per episode, I thought that they were able to pull off something that was sweet and cute. We get to see Kyan and Sung's relationship develop (even if it isn't predominant as the supporting couple). We even see Sung tell Kyan in the last episode that he wants him to choose what would make him happy, be it his singing career or him (he chooses Sung in the end).

The supporting MC was more predominant than the MC, as they did seem to have, maybe, to me, a better story. Soda has a phobia to relationships, due to his parents relationship as well as the fact that they didn't seem to accept him for just being him. His mother, in the end, seems to have accepted her son and his sexuality as she did attend the wedding. And then besides this, Soda seemed to be reminiscing about the past with Kyan, when he is supposed to marry Noah. However, in the end he realized how much he loved Noah and they do get married.

Acting/Cast- 6.5/10
It wasn't that good, not gonna lie. But I still felt that they were able to bring the characters to the screen.

Music-7/10
Some of it was cheesy, but some of it was good.

Rewatch Value-6.5/10
I see myself watching this to get awag from some of the drama filled series that are going on/ finished. Cause sometimes I do just want a drama free show and this could fit that bracket.

Overall- 7/10
It was an okay series that I enjoyed. It was cute and fluffy, with not that much drama. And what drama it had-they were able to resolve it by the end.

This wasn't it for me

I'm sorry, but this wasn't it at all for me. I don't even know how I managed to finish this series, but I did. They were SOOOO much things wrong with this series.

Story-4/10
I am only giving this score due to the MC. Thier story I was able to follow from beginning to the end and yes, even with the atrocious subs. Half way through I was also able to grasp the storyline of Jedi and Indy. These two couples storyline was unique with the mixing of a ghost story. But, it wasn't able to be portrayed in a good way in the writing of this series. The rest- I have NO clue what thier storyline was and also what was the point of them in this series. Like, really?! No amount of make out scenes with the secondary couples saved this series for me, cause I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT THIER POINT IN THE SERIES WAS?!

Acting/Cast-4/10
Again, only for the MC. All of thier acting may suck, but I still favoured the MC.

Music-6/10
It was actually okay- maybe can even be said one of the two only good things about this series (the next being the MC).

Rewatch Value-1/10
Why? Because I can't give it a zero or a half. There is no way that I will watch this series again.

Overall-4/10
This series had such a unique storyline and it is unfortunate that it didn't live up to the potential that I thought that it could. I would not recommend this series to anyone.

This series can be seen as the dark horse for the first half of 2020. I was more excited to watch 2gether the series and WRU? just by the trailers as they drew me in. When I saw this was coming out and after watching the trailer, I wasn't that much excited. However, I still decided to watch it, because I try to give all BL series a go. And I am glad that I did, cause this series was clearly more enjoyable to me than the other two that I was originally eager to watch!

Story-9.5/10
This story was simple, yet it was beautifully told! I loved being introduced to these friends and the guys who they will in turn develop feelings/ have relationships with. What stood out to me was that the director was able to give an ample amount of time for each of the BL couples. This series had four- one MC and three supporting. And I loved all of them. They were all developed beautifully and well, which I think is very rare in BL series as it seen that other BL couples are not properly developed in other series, leaving us viewers either confused or wanting more of them. A reason for this could be due to the fact that this series clearly had better editing skills than the last two series that I recently finished watching. They were able to achieve this due to the fact that they released this series a whole month behind it's original airdate, so that they can fix it's editing as well as for it to show in various countries once viewers were using the WETV app. What annoyed me was the lack of communication between the MC. I am seeing to much of this in BL's, as if that is there go to move and it is getting quiet annoying now. Now to talk about the characters.

Bohn and Duen- I know hat there are some viewers who didn't like the main couple. But in all honest, I adored them. Why? Because neither person did a 180 when they finally got together. Yeah they quarreled over silly simple things, but when they were wrong- they apologized. They showed growth AND they still remained the same way. For me, it felt like they were telling each other you met me like this, then you will love me like this- they didn't have to change to be with one another. In one episode that shows growth is where Bohn asked Duen to move in with him and he told him to give them a year and if they were still together then yes. That right there is growth and sensibility compared to some other BL series as they were basically with each other for less than one month.

Ram and King- God! I feel for these two so hard when they started having scenes together! I loved them to death! The progress of their relationship was so sweet and simple. King helped Ram through his personal situation and became his rock. They really carried me through an emotional rollercoaster in that last episode and I cannot wait to see more of them!

Boss and Mek- From bestfriends to lovers! In the beginning I really did not have any opinion on this couple. But, as the series progressed and we saw more of them, I loved them. My heart broke every time Mek's heart broke. And then with the introduction of Fon in some earlier episodes who liked Boss, I felt more in pain. I am not gonna lie, I honestly thought that Fon had no feelings for Boss, but she truly loved him that she was willing to give up her dream to actually be with him. I was glad that they wrote Fon in a good light and not like a vindictive person. This is where some other BL writer's could take points as well!

Thara and Frong- They came in late in the series and they have stolen my heart. I loved their interaction with each other. And I can't to see more of them in the next season (especially since Thara only now sees Frong as his junior and nothing more).

I loved all of the side characters. All of their friends and families added what I enjoyed about this series! I especially adored Ting Ting! She was truly entertaining.

Acting-Cast-10/10
Everyone's acting was so good and enjoyable. You can see that everyone enjoyed working with each other and it was able to transcend into the screen. They were all able to play their characters so beautifully and felt the emotions that they all felt. I truly enjoyed them.

Music-9/10
I usually don't pay attention to music in series. But when Bohn and Duen was in the woods and the music played in the background- yeah, that really got to me. So, because of that, I raised it to a 9.

Rewatch Value- 10/10
Without a doubt, I will rewatch this series. Even the dreaded episode thirteen I will watch over again, cause things were actually cleared up nicely in the final episode.

Overall-9.5/10
This is currently the highest rating that I have given for a Thai BL series for 2020 that started in 2020 and finished in 2020. I don't know if any other series will take over- I will just have to wait and see. In the end, My Engineer was truly a great series and I would highly recommend it to other people.

Lesson learned- don't make wishes for a BL couple or they might come true

Disclaimer

What I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.

Let me start off by saying that in a previous statement in the feeds, I stated that I was not paying premium for the remaining two episodes- I would wait until they come out. Well, I waited for episode nine, and because I just want this series to no longer be on my currently watching list, I watched episode ten illegally. And honestly, I am glad that I did so that I can move this nonsense to my completed list.

The first time I saw Max and Nat in a series where they were leads was in 'Y Destiny'. I found that the story was one of the best in a sea of crappy storylines. This series here is a continuation of their characters Sun and Nuea from 'Y Destiny', so that's why I decided to give it a go.

And now, after finishing this series, I regret it. As I have said previously, I understand the gist of the storyline, but the continuous switching of the main characters back and forth annoyed me. Like, they could have learnt their lessons if they had remained in each other's bodies and learn about each other's lives, like Freaky Friday. That just made more sense to me than whatever was shown to us here. I personally also did not feel anything for the secondary couple and just did not pay attention to them and their storyline whenever they came on my screen.

I only liked two things about this series. One was the supporting character that Earth Katsamonnat Namwirote played as Mum. That character had flair, and I enjoyed it every time Earth came on the screen- and that's why they got a four. If Earth were not in it, the acting/ cast score would have been lower. Every other character, I just don't give a hoot for. Another thing is that the OST still bangs as it is the same song from 'Y Destiny, ' of which I gave the score of 6.5 there, and so I did it here as well. On a personal note, I felt that ten episodes were a bit too much for this series and that fewer episodes would have been better for the story to progress. I can't even recommend this series to you guys to watch, because the two things that I like are not enough for any person to go through this series.

Personally one of my faves for the year 2023

First let me start off saying that I am writing this review a day after I have completed this series (11/11). Alright! Here's the thing- I really, REALLY liked this series. However, I'm not going to try to convince people who don't like it to like it. I understand why they don't like it. And those are exactly the same reasons on why I do like it.

Story-9/10

I love this story so much! How it started with the cranky boss and the kind hearted secretary. And the it just turned into an excellent cat and mouse chase between the MC's.

And okay- yes it had a pet peeve that I absolutely ABHOR in series (miscommunication). But, I don't know, I felt that it was dealt with good in this series. Like, because how Xia Shang Zhou was raised, he just wasn't able to express himself properly to Yao Shun Yu (I mean he was comparing to get Yao to like/ date him as if he was taking over a company!) I am glad that they were able to clear up this misunderstanding between them and was able to get together in the end.

Now, why did I chose to give it a 9 instead of a 10? Because the mother basically came out of nowhere and just slapping my poor little Yao! And what got to me is the fact that Xia's mother basically knows nothing about him! How the heck you don't know that your own son gets bad headaches and can't et certain types of food! And forcing im on dayes that he clearly does not want to be on because he uses his secretaries to act as his significant other just not to date them. What kind of mother are you!

Acting/Cast-9.5/10

I loved the majority of the acting (the mother part still does not sit right with me!) From the interactions between the two male leads, to the other secretaries and even to the VP. They were all a joy to watch over these past few weeks. That's why I give a 9.5.

Music-10/10

Music is a 10/10 and ain't anybody going to change my mind about it!

Rewatch Valu-8.5/10

While I do like this series, I don't see myself watching it immediately, due to scenes that I must say did annoy me a bit. But I will say that there will be times where I will watch certain parts and smile uncontrollably. So, for that, I will give an 8.5.

Overall-9.5/10

Overall, I give this series a 9.5/10. I really did enjoy it and I do know that it really isn't for everyone. I'm gonna miss this series so much!

Pleasantly surprised and I fell in love with this series

I started this series with not to high expectations because it's a high school series. So I felt 'been there, done that'. But I still watched it as I was interested in how they were going to develop this storyline. And, while some parts were annoying the crap out of me, I must say that I was really impressed.

Story-10/10
So here's the thing! The story may seem like a simple story, but it's not. It went so in depth with these characters that I actually wasn't expecting it. The four main leads are portrayed a certain way in the beginning. But as the series progressed, you are able to see that this is not true. And that's one of the reasons why I liked it.

I also want to say that other series that I did watch where there was a love triangle, I actually didn't really care who ended up with the lead. That wasn't the case here. I was actually rooting for someone to end up with Tae Kyung (the ML). However, what did annoy the heck out of me was how the only female was portrayed in this series in the beginning. I really didn't like Lee So Hee. Like A LOT. But! I am still gonna give this series a 10, cause everthing else was so excellent.

Acting/Cast- 10/10
Is it wierd that I actually loved everyone's acting? Yes even Lee Sae On (Tae Kyung) where people are saying that he's stiff. I still loved it. All the actors acting I adored as they were able to bring the characters to life for me.

I want to also add that I absolutely loved Go Woo Jin's acting as Nam Goong Shi Woon. He basically stole the series with his amazing character.

Music-10/10
I enjoyed the music a lot. It was sweet and addictive. Hey! It introduced me to a K pop group that I didn't know about as well.

Rewatch Valu-10/10
Yes! I qould watch this over again! That's how much I love it! And I know that I would miss all of these four main characters so much! (Especially Nam Goon Shi Woon!)

Overall-10/10
I gave this series a full 10. And yes, as I have stated, it did have some flaws (really don't like Lee So Hee). But I felt that the other aspects of this series that I did like overtakes that and thus, I gave it a full 10. I would most definitely recommend this series and I'm gonna miss it like crazy now! (What the heck am I gonna watch now on Tuesdays and Thursdays?)

A good second season

This sequel to 'No. 1 For You' was indeed a good follow-up. We got to learn more abput Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Shi De and what happened during the five years they were apart.

Story-9/10
Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Shi De have been separated for over five years. The reason behnd this was because Gao Shi De wanted to prove himself to Zhou Shu Yi's dad that he was suitable for his son. So he agreed to not only stay away from Zhou Shu Yi but to also make a name for himself so that he would be seen suitable for Zhou. What here that irked me was the lack of communication between these two as Gao cannot tell Zhou abot the deal he had with Zhou's dad as well as Zhou went to the states, saw Gao with someone and automatically thought that he was cheating on him. However, they were able to overcome this and get back together.

We were also introduced to the unique couple of Yu Zhen Xuan and Pei Shou Yi. Both men are not perfect and they had me routing for them. Shi Zhu Yu and Liu Bing Wei we were introduced in the first season. We saw them getting close and now in the second season, they are dating and living together. By the end of the second season, they are engaged.

Acting-10/10
I loved everyone's acting, especially the actors who played Yu Zhen Xuan and Pei Shou Yi. Thier characters were just...awesome. Ih ope to see more of them, if not as these characters, in other dramas.

Music-9.5/10
The music was beautiful. And when they even played the theme song from the first season in the last episode...that got to me.

Rewatch Valu- 9/10
I liked this series. I see myself watching it again in the future. It may have a few small flaws (like the flow of the storyline that they show as special scenes and not in the series itself, causing me to feel like if I am missing something cause I didn't see it). Otherwise than that, it was a good series.

Overall-9.5/10
This was indeed a good follow-up to season one. This may have a few small flaws, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I will recommend it to other viewers.

Interesting concept. Everything else is not so interesting.

So, here's the thing- the concept for this series was interesting and that's what drew me into wanting to watch this. But I don't know what the heck happened. I can't even blame the execution- most, if not all of the characters, were written stupidly. Half of the things that they did have me wondering why and if they were really that dumb. It had me even questioning myself as scenes that were seen in a flashback by the female protagonist, I did not recall seeing it AT ALL throughout the previous episodes. I felt that the series itself began to be a bit too draggy for me and I just wanted to finish it for finishing's sake.

What I would say was that I was surprised by two things that occurred in the last episode and in all honesty, I was kind of surprised when we learnt the truth about Walter's killer. All in all, watch it if you are a fan of these actors because you will feel like you have never watched such dumb charcters in your life.

For the past 10 weeks, I have been eagerly awaiting for this series to air every week because it had me hooked from the first episode, and this series became the highlight for me. I honestly did not know the way this series was going to go, but I was pleasantly surprised with the introduction of the characters. I saw someone say that it was nice actually seeing the popular kid going for the not-so-popular kid (which I do agree with), as he had feelings for him first.

The actors were able to bring across such a sweet, fluffy and simple story to us viewers in such a good way through their acting and how they portrayed the characters. I was also grateful that we did get an episode showing the point of view of Watarai, so we at least knew how, why and when he started to develop feelings for Hioki. They did have their little hiccups here and there before the ending, but I was grateful that it wasn't too drastic, and I am happy with the ending that they did receive. So, thank you to the main actors and the supporting actors for bringing this series to life for us.

Look, if you are looking for a cute, light fluff series with amazing characters, I really think you should give this a watch. Trust me, you won't regret it!

So grateful that I gave this series a chance and decided to watch it

Sometimes I decide to just give a series a shot and see if I like it. Sometimes I wonder, 'why did I put myself through such torture?' And sometimes I am beyond happy that I decided to give it a shot. It was the latter for this series. From the beginning, I was drawn into the main characters and their interaction with each other. As their relationship blossomed over the episodes, I feel more and more in love with them, thier friends and thier antics. This series does not only give us an awesome main couple, but it also gives us two amazing friends, who deserve to have a spinoff as one of them is crushing on the next one and he doesn't know!!!!

I felt that this series handled the kiss scenes and the NC scene well. Especially as I felt that the NC scene was well done compared to other Korean BL series out there. It was just phenomenon. And I just want to say that I was not expecting the amount of kisses that we recieved througout this series- but it was done so good.

I really feel like I shoud recommend this series as it was surprisingly good. If you want a quick shockingly good Korean BL series a watch, give this series a watch.

Contender for Best BL for 2025.

Disclaimer

What I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this movie. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a better score and why it is better than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.

So, in the beginning, I was not interested in this series when I saw the trailer. But, as the time drew nearer for it to premiere, I realized that it was adapted from the manga series Dakaichi: I'm Being Harassed by the Sexiest Man of the Year. I knew it from the anime, as I did watch it while it was airing, more than from the manga, and this got me excited for the series.

Now, I know the two main leads from some of their previous work. I know Smart from his previous work 'Don't Say No' (and yes, I was one of the foolish ones that was waiting for his character's story, Leon and his love interest, Pob in what was supposed to be called 'Just Say Yes' that never came to be). And I know Boom mostly from his lead roles ' My Dream' and 'Chains of Heart.' And, I must say, they both did an excellent job with their performance in this series. I was enthralled every week and couldn't wait to see what else these boys could bring with their performances. Their acting and chemistry were on point, and I felt that they did a good job in bringing the manga to a live screen adaptation.

So, I know from the title people may be wondering if I think that this is the best BL of the year; why did I not give it a 10? Simply, the last episode, in my opinion, was not really the strongest, as it gave us an ending that is open for a second season. I personally don't have high hopes for a second season, and for that reason, I am giving this series a 9.5.

A cute quick series to watch

I watched this series on Netflix. So, of course I watched the first six episodes and then had to wait a lot of weeks until the final six episodes were released (with subs) to watch them. I must say, this series was cute and very quick to the point. It was easy to watch. as well as enjoyable.

I love the two main characters, especially the character of Shiba Ryoma, who is first described as the cold and merciless Ice King of Law in his workplace due to his mannerisms to his many work partners he has had (Haruto becoming his 100th partner). This gradually changes as he falls for Haruto along the way. This series had some surprising moments that I was not expecting at all, and it was still able to work together with the storyline. Also, the closing song was addictive, and I know that I am going to miss hearing it.

The cast did an incredible job with their acting and being able to portray the story of Shiba and Haruto in such a good way. And although it ended in a way that a sequel can be made, it was still a realistic and happy ending for Shiba and Haruto that did not affect my final score in the end if they do decide to have a sequel to this series.

GMMTV and TayNew has don it again!

I just started this series on a whim, and honestly, I am glad that I did. It had me coming back every week because I wanted to know what will happen. Might I say, that I actually enjoyed this series more than their last project (and that's saying a lot for me as I totally loved and adored 'Cherry Magic.' I believe that seeing this was an original work and I did not know what was going to happen made this series have a special place in my heart.

All of the actors did a stellar job—from the main actors to supporting actors and even actors who guest starred in a few of the episodes—all of them were excellent. They were able to get from me emotions from laughing, (a wee bit) scared, and even sad. I must also add that I honestly thought that about halfway through this series, it would have lost some steam because I thought at the time that they had discovered the big plot point for this series. but, no! This was not the case, as it still powered on, carrying me on a journey that I totally did not expect to occur.

I don't want to give away any of the plot, because that's just how good it was that I want people who have not watched this series to go now and watch it. I really recommend this series to you guys out there and (hopefully ) you guys enjoy it as much as I did.

Gonna miss all this messy chaos from these characters

From the first trailer last year, I just know that this series was going to be messy (love) story. I was actually afraid that I was not going to be able to follow it, but...I actually did!

Story-9/10
I'm not even gonna try to explain it, because like I said, I was hella confused from the first time I saw the preview last year. But all I can say is that all of the main characters had their good side as well as their bad side. At one point, I was rooting for them. And then at another point, I was screaming bloody murder and wishing death upon them. It can also be seen as realistic, because not all of the three couples got their happy ending together (and this is why I was most happy for Nick's ending because he chooses to love himself than to be in a relationship with Boston who wanted to change for Nick, but still was the same- although I must say that he did try at least).

I just didn't really like the character Boeing (and nothing is going to make me to). All in all, I'm going to give it a 9.

Acting/Cast-9/10
Everyone was phenomenal, especially First, Khatoung and Mark. I really loved their character and felt that they portrayed the emotions well. Force and Neo played their characters well also as they had me hating on them at one point of the series. Due to this, I'm going to give them a 9.

Music-8.5/10
The music was interesting and went well with the series. As such, I will give an 8.5.

Rewatch-10/10
I will most definitely give this another rewatch. Because it may give me a better understanding of the characters. Also, I like messy and complicated stories once told properly, which this one was. I would give this a 10.

Overall-9/10
Overall, I give this series a 9/10. I was thoroughly entertained. And was interesting in seeing Force and Book yet another character that were totally different from their previous two. I would most definitely recommend this to others who want to watch a messy and chaotic series done right.

If you are a Cutie Pie/ ZeeNew fan, then this series is for you. If you're like me, then it's not

The thing with me and sequels/ special episodes from a previous series is that it never ever lives up to the predecessor and thus, gets a lower score from me. And this is the case with 'Cutie Pie 2 You'.

Story-6/10
I can't really say that there isn't a plot because the plot is Kura and Lian finally got married. Episodes 1 to 3 were episodes leading up to thier big day- marriage. But what got to me is thier urgency of getting married and then Kura going off to South Korea to start living his dream as the singer Kirin, leaving his new husband back home in Thailand. I honestly wanted to know why they had to get married so quickly if they were basically going to have a long distance relationship. I mean I get that they love each other so much- it just did not make any sense to me.

These special episodes actually shocked me due to the fact that the two supporting male couples actually stole the series from the MC. And that shocked me as I really wasn't that invested in Khondiao and Yi in 'Cutie Pie ' as I was here. I also adore seeing what little development of Neur and Syn's relationship (believe me, it was little). For that, I am giving a 6.

Acting/ Cast- 7.5/10
As stated above, the actors who played Neur, Syn, Yi and Khondiao played thier characters well as I was actually invested in them when I saw them on the screen. I would even say that Zee's character was also okay. New's character- not so much. I felt that he somehow got more annoying this part. So for that, I will give a 7.5.

Music-8/10
The music was bopping in the first season and it's still bopping here. So, for that I will give an 8.

Rewatch Valu-3/10
Unfortunately, I felt like this was a waste of my time. I also felt that this was unnecessarily dragged out to four episodes, which could have been told in less. As such, I am giving a 3.

Overall-6/10
Overall, I must say that it was nice to see the supporting characters again. But Kura is still annoying as ever and Lian basically will still do anything for him.
